Not that expensive and worth the money
Fun activity to have around. It doesn't get heavy use, but enough that I feel like it was worth the money. The directions were terribly confusing. Thank you goodness my teens are more adept at cryptic puzzles than me. Make sure you put it away before a storm because it does blow into the pool. I filled it with water not sand. Overall, I feel like it was worth the money. We generally just float but it's nice to have toys for when there are guests.

Needed extra weight
We have an above-ground pool with a wrap-around deck. The basketball hoop needed extra weight so it wouldn't fall over so we attached a heavy 4x4 to the back of it. It makes it hard to move around, but at least it doesn't fall over during play. The volleyball net was such poor quality we didn't even attach it, but my kids have had lots of fun with the basketball hoop once we made it more durable.

Volleyball net
I purchased this set after having a hard time finding a volleyball net that would span across my 26 foot wide pool. I didn't want a high end expensive set because I knew that I wanted to be able to move it easily whenever we used it and the high end sets are heavy duty whereas once you set them up, they pretty much remain. This set is great for us and we have used it quite a bit. The basketball net that is included is nicer than I anticipated. Not a big slam dunk type with regulation ball, but nonetheless, still a good net for us to play our games of "horse".

Poolmaster set
Poorly constructed equipment, poor assemble instructions, over-priced for the quality of the item. I will look for a different item when this one falls apart.

Lots of fun at the pool
Lots of fun, well made, could be a bit heavier to withstand wind and ball bouncing off the basketball. In comparison with other similar products this one is well priced.

Everything is sturdy
Perfect. Very easy to put together and works great for in ground pool

I don't think it's worth the price.
It arrived on time, but as we started to put it together we were missing three bolts. my husband had to go to a hardware store to purchase them so we could finish putting it together which was a pain. Basketball hoop is not as sturdy as it should be. it moves around a bit and has to be straightened while playing. Volleyball net is fine, the ball provided seems a little hard.

Ridiculous to assemble, cheaply manufactured, parts don't fit well
I'm fairly experienced at assembling things like bikes, ceiling fans, large pieces of furniture and the like. I have *never* encountered as many issues with assembly as I did with these poorly-manufactured pool toys. While the hoop and net plastic parts appear durable enough, the instructions were difficult to decipher, and in fact the base (which you fill with water) of the basketball hoop did not match the illustration at all. The poles for the volleyball net were just slightly too big in circumference to fit into the bases. I ended up having to drill new holes (to insert locking pins) in the poles because I (or should I say "we", since my son was helping me) simply couldn't push them down far enough into the bases. I also had to use a fair amount of white lithium grease to "encourage" them in. Do yourself a favor - don't buy this. A huge ripoff, IMO. I would have returned this except it was a birthday gift and my sons were very excited to use ASAP. Ugh.
