Interfit Strobies Barndoor Without Flex Mount

This set of barn doors clips into the Flex Mounts easily. While the doors can be used to shape and flag the light coming from your speedlite, they are a bit small compared to doors I've used before. There's quite a bit of spill to deal with on the corners. For this reason, I've actually gone ahead and put gaffer's tape across the top and bottom doors to widen their reach. Not really elegant, but it gets the job done. I prefer the light-shaping abilities of barn doors to grids for most applications, and when using a speedlite as a rim or hair light, these are a good way of keeping that light from spilling out into the rest of the shot.

Works just like studio barn doors but with the smaller flash units. Liked the first one so much, bought a second one.Don't forget your strobie mount for your flash, this does not come with one (why is that?)

Exactly what I needed for strobist photography works very well. I would suggest to friend. It's compact enought to carry with you in photo location.

If you own the flex mount for your camera already and you want to purchase a barn door setup go right ahead and get this one. The construction leaves a bit to be desired. Its all plastic and I feel like I am about to break it when I am mounting it. Its light weight and works great. I give it three stars only because of price and overall material quality.
