This very easy to read book describes the story of Luka Doncic from his early days impressing spectators at his dad's basketball games, to his time playing in the Euro League to his current station as one of the NBA's rising stars. Inspiring for every kid.

I reminds me of some of the books I used to read when I was young about famous baseball and football players. True life is often the most inspiring, and this story is no exception. Good story.

A very good, but short story on perseverance and knowing what you want in life. It was inspiring to read this player's story and I'm glad he reached where he did.The book would do well with some pictures of the star in his younger years and as he progressed. It really felt like it was missing that.

I purchased this book for Middle School boys to encourage them to read about their Dallas Maverick hero. The book had no pictures... kids today are very visual and they said the book was “plain”. One boy looked at it, but hasn’t read it... 🙁

The structure and grammar of the book leaves something to be desired though. It reads like a poorly written Wikipedia article or a rambling story jotted down as is.

Good book for young fans of basketball, especially ones looking for inspiration to take their own game to the next level. More photos would be popular with these readers, and the writing is occasionally repetitive, but Luka Doncic's story is truly unusual and inspiring, and this book will reel in avid sports fans.

It was a great story but Kilmeade's grammar is atrocious. All through the book there were continual grammatical errors. If you have any background in history or English lit, you get interrupted to try to understand what he just said. A comment in one of the reviews stated this book was a good tool to get kids to read. I hope not because if they follow this, they will find they pick up a lot of bad writing habits. Whatever happened to quality workmanship in this country. I blame the publisher for not conduction a proper QC.
