Must be something like five years now. Ever since I've found this product, I just keep using it.I have very curly hair, and if I want it to behave at all in a manner that might be professional I have to tame the beast with some product. If I go with a product that is too thick, then the hair becomes matted and you can tell I just slathered a mess of garbage on my hair.But, this stuff just holds. Look. It's still product. Run your hair with clay pomade and you're gonna feel something. But, it makes my hair look like the real deal, holds just fine, and can be brushed out (you'd be better served washing it out if you have a sensitive scalp and doing something like this hurts... but can be done in a pinch)It doesn't hurt that folks that do get close to my hair (I'm 6'4", and I like my personal space... this means folks I care about when sitting down who get close) say the scent is not offensive and often pleasant. Hopefully some day I'll stop hanging around 18th century English majors.It's a good product. I should buy stock I purchase and use this stuff. Compact carrying container, ample product, does what's on the tin. Get this, move on, and feel confident your hair is just gonna do its thing.

I don't have to brush my hair every day. 4 out of 7 days I put on a hat and I am good to go. But those 3 days I want something easy and able to clean up quickly. Gel is always a pain along with any other non tin/jar product. But I love this stuff. I can since it off my hands easily and it does not get all over the place. It will give me a 3/4 day hold and I can touch it up 1 or 2 times if needed. A little sure does go along way. I was not sure if I would use this up fast but it has lasted about a year with just a small nail scraping of this stuff.Nice hold and no shineI have medium length hair. Basically I do not look like a shaggy dog.

Surprised as I thought the Reuzel clay was the best thing I could find. Turns out I was wrong. This stuff is great. Very solid hold, matte look like there's no product in there. The smell is nice too. Very glad I gave it a shot.

So glad I gave this clay a try. It's really great and perfect for my hair length and texture. Even though they call it a "clay" there actually isn't any bentonite or kaolin or other types of clay -- but that is actually a good thing as those natural clays will dry out and damage my hair. This is more of a wax with healthy natural oils that are actually healthy for the hair and washes out easily. I use it on damp, nearly dry hair to shape it exactly how I want and then use a tiny bit of finishing spray for the bangs. With this clay I'll use a tiny bit more than other strong hold products like claymation. It reminds me a little bit of the old formula Sumotech before they ruined it. But this is actually better because your hair won't look wet and sticky after applying. If I do use a tiny bit too much, I can just use my hands to shift some hair around and get rid of any crunchiness and it looks even better, dry and clean but held in place. After trying so many pomades, wax and clays, this one is really the best. Wish I found it years ago.

Clays tend to be med/high hold and matte finish. They allow for restyling and shifting throughout the day.Pomades tend to be high hold and hard drying.This clay pomade is neither clay like nor pomade like in performance. I would give this a med hold matte finish. Your hair will be light and provided some shape throughout the day. It feels light and non greasy and doesn’t over dry but does not allow for restyling throughout the day and will lose some form by days end. If this sounds like you, than great product, if you’re looking for clay or pomade than this is not your product.

I like this product. It actually stays matte and has a great fragrance that is moldable throughout the day no matter how much you apple.
