Whole Earth Farms Grain Free Wet Cat Food Real Chicken (Cast of 24)

It is hit and miss if my cat will eat all of this when I serve it, it is certainly not worth the inflated prices and difficulty in getting it. The only Purina food my cat ever really liked was Fancy Feast, and only certain flavors, but I wanted her to eat something a bit better nutritionally. I was able to get a better brand than this for a better price, so I think we are done. Bye Purina.

My cats have been eating this (turkey, grain-free, canned) for about 3 years and it's been great. Previously they ate Blue Buffalo "grain-free," which of course turned out not to really be grain-free at all. The cats had terrible IBD problems so I switched them to wet food and tried this along with a couple other foods like Nature's Variety, which they also like. They seem to really love this food. The only time I had trouble getting one of them to eat it was during a bout of pancreatitis and the cat didn't want to eat anything then. Another cat's diabetes got much better (off insulin) when I switched to this food (as it would with any low-carb food), which was also nice. The smell isn't great to me, but it's cat food. It did take a while for the cats to eat this consistently when I switched them from a dry to canned diet, but I just kept offering it and mixed in some Forti-flora for maybe a week because my cats go nuts for that stuff. Once they decided they liked it, they have eaten it without problems. No vomiting (they used to be pretty frequent vomiters) but maybe twice a year and good stool too. The ingredient list looks good to me, and the quality of the food has been consistent, other than the fact that Amazon sometimes tosses the cases into large boxes and the cans arrive broken open... Anyway, good food so far that I've had great results from and my cats like. I believe Purina? bought the Merrick company that makes this food and I've been worried that would mean quality would decline, but so far I haven't noticed anything.

Really hate to give this cat food a bad rap. My cats would not touch it but, on the other hand, they will barely touch anything. If I rated it for them, it most probably would be the one star. You asked if the food met my expectations, well yes it did. I ordered cat food and it says it is cat food. As for my cats, no. But at this point I have no idea what their expectations are. They beg for something, but almost everything I put down for them (3 sisters) they just look up at me, like, REALLY. My cats will not consume any human food whatsoever. No milk, cheese, bread, you name it. They always end up back at the kibble bowl and I try to change up the brand of kibble periodically for them. I have only used two cans and am going to try to sneak one over on them and put another can down to see if they go for it. I did order a bag of dry kibble in this brand and they seemed to like it but my husband said during the day they were throwing it up. I only buy grain free and thought this one might be too rich for them. I had mixed it with the last of a bag of another brand, so I plan to try them on it without supplementing it with anything else to see if they keep it down. My feral cats outside like the can, but that is not a good testimony. They will eat anything and I know it will not be wasted at my house. So, please use yourown judgment when deciding.

I have a cat who has for life been on a special diet. YFF Freya was a 3 time returnee to the animal shelter. She spent half of her first 5 years in kennels or at the shelter. This Severely obese cat who could not roll over (without getting stuck) could not groom herself etc.) insisted on coming home. 3 weeks later we YFF Freya was vomiting everywhere. Off to the vet. A very expensive cat came home, Call to the shelter and dietary triage, and breed review later we learned Freya has food allergies. Being abile to control her diet now means an on weigh , happy , health cat. Home delivery means I can depend on her special needs food being available. Thank you for great ingredients, and on time regular delivery. A great stress reducer for the Scottish Warrer Princes and myself.

I have mixed reviews for this product. The ingredient list is great and the price is awesome compared to similar grain free- by product free cat food. It even smells appetizing and my kitties enjoy eating it even after getting it twice a day every day. My chief complaints are as follows.1.) The can is small. It is 5oz compared to the typical 6oz most cat food cans are. Also I feel like the can is inconsistently filled and sometimes has large air pockets in the pate or just generally seems less filled than other times.2.) I order this regularly twice a month for the last 6 months. Two of the cases I have received contained several cans that were tainted with patches inside the pate that appeared to have white mold growing. Of course I had to throw those cans away. Amazon refunded half the cost of that case when I complained.I am still using this food regularly but might be switching soon as one of my cat has developed allergies and I have a suspicion it might be due to the Peas in this product. Otherwise it is a good product at a good price.

We've been trying different brands of wet cat food recently, trying to find something grain-free that our cats like and that isn't too expensive. This pretty much fits the bill — the cats seem to prefer it to the last couple of brands (at least, their bowls are cleaner), and the cost per can is not insane.My one complaint is that these cans are harder than average to rinse and clean out for recycling. It might be the paté consistency, or maybe it's the design of the can itself, but a fair amount of food sticks to the side of the can, under the rim, and it's hard to get out either for the cats or to clean the can. Not impossible, and it's not a deal breaker, but this is one of the more difficult cans to clean.

I have tried many brands of natural and grain-free cat food, and almost gave up on my cat before finding Whole Earth Farms. He Loves them! He is especially crazy for the duck version, but I finally found something healthy he will eat. That makes me feel great as his kitty mama, and he is softer than ever. I believe it made a difference in his coat. Every cat is different, but give this a try. Even your fussy kitty might fall for this brand.

Not really impressed with this canned cat and neither are my two cats. I would expect for the price that when it says " Real chicken morsels in gravy ", that it would be real chicken pieces, but instead it is chicken? made into some type of pate and then cut into chunks. Well, they are not going to fool my cats. The so called " gravy " is so thick that you have to add some water to it , to make it into an actual gravy. Disappointed with this brand of canned cat food and I won't purchase it again. I sometimes cook real chicken from the grocery store when it's on sale, and I have to mix this canned food with real chicken, to get my cats to eat it. They do not like "pate" of any kind, and I don't blame them.

My cats wont eat pate and I find it difficult sometimes to find affordable good quality wet food in "chunks" I"ve used Wellness Signature quite a bit, but when I brought this home they seemed to enjoy this food more! Even my "light eater" finishes his whole serving.

My cats (4) have very much enjoyed this food. We are regular consumers of the original varieties of Merrick cat food as well. Unlike some of the other reviews, I haven't had any problems with dented cans or cans that are only 1/2 filled.

kittens, cats will not eat it, not even hungry outdoor strays. tried giving it away no one will take it. bad product.
