The 1251 is marked USA **Q: what is the best product to condition the leather handle and sheath, that doesn't make it sticky or fell wet???** A: I have used bees wax on my handle and knife sheath and my KABAR has withstood many hours on my boat and being submerged, If you don't want to do that then just go on google and find somthing. And no, the bees wax gives it a better grip but also won't get sticky or anything. **Q: Is it comming with the lthr sheat with the usmc logo in it?** A: The knife comes with the leather sheath that reads USMC. My boyfriend was very happy with it. **Q: I want to verify that this knife has a partial serrated edge, right?** A: Yes, model 1252 is partially serrated, model 1250 is the straight edge version. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cuts cheesecake even! *by C***I on March 31, 2025* Great gift from hubby! Fits in my purse and is very sharp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing *by C***T on March 23, 2025* Amazing product, will definitely be getting one for my son. Just as advertised, and very high quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharpest knife I've ever had!! *by N***N on March 22, 2015* When I open this knife I fell in love with it! Outta the box it was sharp enough to shave off the hair on my arms. It will glide through cardboard and bags and paracord with ease. The serrations look dull, but after cutting my finger on it I can say its pretty sharp. This is not a huge knife, but it's not suppose to be. This is great because in Texas I can carry this knife legally.(A knife blade cannot be longer than 5.5 inches in Texas. This blade is 5.25 inches) The leather sheath is alright but it's not the best sheath ever. It may show wear where the handguard rests in the sheath but no big deal. This is a very good knife! You can't go wrong with Ka-bar. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ka-Bar 1252 KA bar, Short KA bar, 1 4" Serrated Edge, Brown Leather Sheath, USMC , black - KA-BAR Sharpener - KA-BAR Full Size US Marine Corps Fighting Knife, Straight --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ie/products/1747343-kb1252-usmc-short-serrated-w-leather-sheath](https://www.desertcart.ie/products/1747343-kb1252-usmc-short-serrated-w-leather-sheath) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ireland* *Store origin: IE* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
