Starting off these are priced so low. They are made from super conductive brass, so the performance is amazing. They fit snug and were universal on either end. So simple to install. I personally hand tightened them then used an appropriate wrench to give it a bit more. My side post battery was a nightmare in my second Gen Camaro. Using these gave me the room necessary to install the battery and the extra bolt for accessories is just a bonus. Highly recommend!

These work great if you need to add another wire or two to your side-post battery terminals! Now I don't recommend anyone doing this. But I did! I removed the side post battery out of one vehicle and put it in another vehicle to replace a dead TOP terminal battery. I did this hurriedly one morning in the dark trying desperately to get to work on time. I had to be careful not to cross the polarity of the battery! Positive on one battery is on the other side of the other battery etc. I took some junk wire and quickly wrapped a bunch around the vehicle's battery terminal connectors and these wonderful side-post battery terminal bolts. The work was very sloppy, having been done in the dark and in haste! But the little 4 cylinder car started without hesitation! And guess what? I drove that way, everyday, for months! I never had a problem. Anyway, this testifies to the unique ability this product has to accommodate even the most ridiculous wiring situation a person can throw it's way! If you have a side-post battery, GET THESE!

Works as described, and good quality part. I have a Check conversion van that has an extra ground cable. There are two unexpected benefits I don't see mentioned. First is that the threads go deeper into the battery providing a better connection. The second, and more important is that there is actually a post to connect jumper cables to. Side post batteries are notoriously difficult to get a solid connection. If you have room, you can install these simply for that convenience. -thanks for the product.

Worked fine on my 2001 Yukon XL. Used them to extend the positive terminal in order to wire in a headlight relay kit. Be careful not to overtighten into the Battery. Side post batteries are notorious for stripping.

Great product. With the side terminals on my GM battery there was no way to clip on a battery tender or charger clips because the extending terminal bolt was too short. This solves that problem easily. The terminal posts are well made and the threaded sections on each end have the same threads. They work well.

Works great for my 1988 Chevy truck. Has side posts and now I have connected the battery trickle charger to these. They work great and I highly recommend them.

Had an issue with the old sidepost cables corroding and not getting good connection. Once I cleaned the terminals, I installed these extenders and clamped the cables down tight. No more issues! Everything is holding good and the cables are far enough away that they aren't corroding again.

At first I loved them. then noticed the volts at the nut end was low, indication a poor connection. After a few hard starts I removed them and cleaned everything, then when I put the + terminal back in it wouldn't tighten. So it is screwed in but I keep thinking it will back itself out.
