It turned out great and then painted the other side so it won’t be so plane. They D rings are very strong and holds my sleeves well. It’s plenty big to hold lots of sleeves. This is great buy and I got them in the mail quick too. I would buy from them again if needed. I wanted a place to put keepsakes for my daughters and husband (e.g., "firsts" like pictures, invitations, etc., drawings, etc.). I like symmetrical anything, so the fact that these were 12x12 was attractive to me. I didn't want to pay a lot of money, because all I really wanted was semi-organization to all the papers and small keepsakes that I had lying around. These scrapbooks were fine for that purpose. Now, and I'm probably doing this wrong (and I don't much care) - so I'll say that when you add pages to this book, the pages sink out of the album when you pick it up. Too much, too heavy...I don't know if that's normal.
