Review: Only three (very minor) caveats - So, I will say, I bought a 45W charger from the Samsung website about a year or two ago and it was a different design to this... maybe Samsung updated the design or perhaps this is a fake but what's important is: It does super-fast charge my S22, allowing me to power up in what feels like no time. I have two of these, one for traveling and one for home and it lives up to its promise. It's a USB C to C black cable which matches my black S22 and black Tab 6 and black Galaxy Buds, it'd be great if there were colour options but I'm not affected by the lack of them. The cable that came with the box could also be longer but I use another cable that is much longer, so again, I'm not affected. The only caveat that actually affects me is the size of the thing: it's massive! Not in width (thankfully) but in height, which just makes it annoying to use, it's just constantly in the way. I understand that it's a super-fast and almost all super-fast chargers are pretty big but that doesn't mean I don't dislike it. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone with a Galaxy, 45W chargers are awesome! Review: Quick charging, but a bit bigger than other 25w chargers. - Having recently purchased a Samsung S22+, I wanted a charger that could work to its maximum charging rate of 45w. My phone, when at home, spends most of its time on a Qi charging pad, but when travelling I do appreciate the ability to quick charge if a mains power socket is available. The charger comes with a good quality cable that feels a little thicker than some of the others I have, but not excessively so. The charger is somewhat larger than the other 25w Samsung chargers I have, so not quite so convenient in an outside pocket (fleece is OK, suit jacket not so much - where the smaller 25w item is far more discrete). In a laptop bag the difference (size and weight) is almost irrelevant, but the benefit of nearly halving your charge time - to the 80% battery charge level anyway, it does slow the charge rate after this - is amazing. ## Features - Travel charger - Colour: black - EP-TA845XBEGGB - Package Dimensions: 3.6 L x 8.4 H x 7.9 W (cm) - package may vary ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B082SZYR3K | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,495 in Mobile Phone Mains Chargers | | Box Contents | USB-C to USB-C Cable | | Brand | Samsung | | Brand Name | Samsung | | Colour | Black | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,987 Reviews | | Input Voltage | 100 Volts | | Input voltage | 100 Volts | | Item Dimensions | 5.3 x 3 x 8.9 centimetres | | Item Weight | 0.11 Kilograms | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 5.3 x 3 x 8.9 centimetres | | Item weight | 0.11 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Samsung | | Manufacturer Part Number | EP-TA845XBEGGB | | Model Number | EP-TA845XBEGCN | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Outlets | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Output Voltage | 9 Volts | | Output voltage | 9 Volts | | Plug Type | Type C | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Samsung - **Colour:** Black - **Input voltage:** 100 Volts - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5.3 x 3 x 8.9 centimetres - **Item weight:** 0.11 Kilograms ## Images ![UK Travel Adaptor (45W with USB type C Cable) Black, package may vary - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51wf5su3u0L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the output current and voltage of this ti make it 45 watts? 9volt, 5amps?** A: Label says... Output: (PDO) 5V 3A OR 9V 3A OR 15V 3A OR 20V 2.25A (PPS) 3.3-11V 4.05A OR 3.3-16V 2.8A OR 3.3-21V 2.1A **Q: Is this compatible with Galaxy A90** A: It will work with the A90 but it won't charge it any faster than a 25W charger as the A90 doesn't support 45W charging. It suggest a 25W Samsung fast charger for the A90, it's cheaper. I believe that non-Samsung 25W chargers will only charge at 15W but please check first. **Q: Will this work on the S20 ultra ?** A: In short yes, no problems :) **Q: how long will it take to charge my s7 fe 5g?** A: About an hour or so ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only three (very minor) caveats *by T***T on 19 July 2023* So, I will say, I bought a 45W charger from the Samsung website about a year or two ago and it was a different design to this... maybe Samsung updated the design or perhaps this is a fake but what's important is: It does super-fast charge my S22, allowing me to power up in what feels like no time. Feels like good value just if you view its' weight in isolation! I often read marketing blurb about fast charging etc with a pinch of salt. They miss out bits such as 'under lab conditions' etc, but you know what - it's true! This charger actually DOES charge in ultra-fast time. During lockdown, I rarely use my phone yet I still forget to charge it - even when i forget I can now punch a lot of power into the phone in 15 minutes or so as I faff around to do whatever it is that I need to do to prep to go to work or whatever. A great buy, well worth the money, and I now see why you don;t get one by default with new kit! My only caveat is it is heavy enough to start making a difference for your Airline travel. Granted it is only one tiny piece of the equation but where ounces matter, you might want to keep taking your old charger with you! ## Frequently Bought Together - Samsung UK Travel Adaptor (45W with USB type C Cable) Black, package may vary - Samsung Super Fast Dual Car Charger (45W+15W) Dual Ports USB-C & USB-A - Black - EP-L5300XBEGWW - Samsung Galaxy Official 45W Super Fast Charger 2.0 (with USB-C to C Data Cable), Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ie/products/174157635-uk-travel-adaptor-45w-with-usb-type-c-cable-black](https://www.desertcart.ie/products/174157635-uk-travel-adaptor-45w-with-usb-type-c-cable-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ireland* *Store origin: IE* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
