Does not stop noise, so if that is your primary goal then this is not your solution. It does slightly damped the noise, but even that is minimal. If you are using it to stop drafts then this is the product for you. It is super easy to install and works really well at stopping drafts or isolating a room. Again, good for air, no good for sound suppression.

Pros: Easy to install, stays on well, does a good job preventing a draft.Con: There is a squeaking noise when opening and closing the door.

I used this for the door to the barn. It works great!

This will stick to your door providing it’s not painted or the paint sticks well to your door. There is one spot on my floor that is a little higher and within a few days of opening it all the way the strip ripped off the paint and doesn’t stick anymore. It is a strong adhesive but unfortunate is not usable now...we used the tact’s and they did nothing to help keep it in once it had ripped off the paint:(

The installation went great. After 2 days of not using the door, I checked and the product retracted quite a bit! What kind of rubber is this?

I bought 2" W white one about a month ago, then 3" W one about 2 weeks ago. Both look very good and match great with white painted metallic kitchen door and white painted wooden room door. The cleaning pad with primer smells like wd40 for a day or so. the 3" w one had slight wrinkles from being rolled initially but didn't seem to affect function or look eventually. They are very easy to cut and apply. I made them stand on the floor, top portion not touching the door, then from middle to sides pressed top/glue portion. if you have a door mat, make sure the strip is above it, not just the floor. It probably won't stick the second time strong enough, especially on wooden doors. Mine are still holding up well in Nov-Dec New York weather, winds/cooking smell are noticeably reduced.

This works really nicely. I didn't need to use the tacks to help hold it up, the adhesive backing was strong enough. And that's with a dog tie that goes under the door and presses up and backwards on this (I have this on an outside porch door), it doesn't come off the door. It works great at keeping the breeze, dirt, and insects out. It's a really solid material.

It's difficult to find a door sweep taller than 1 inch but I have a door with a 2 inch gap at the bottom and it let in too much light and noise which disturbed sleep. It adhered without even needing the included tacks which were appreciated just in case. A year later and it is still working perfectly and the room is more comfortable with it. No quality issues; it was actually thicker than I expected. Would purchase again.

Our front door had a 1" / 2.5cm gap underneath it, but the gap also got bigger from one side of the door to the other. This large version of the BAINING draft stopper neatly covers the whole gap. The material is flexible enough that it bends over the uneven parts of the floor as the door opens, but goes back to shape when the door is closed.The adhesive seemed pretty strong, but I felt that repetitive opening of the door would eventually weaken any adhesive (there is quite a bit of resistance due to our uneven floor) so we used the pins that came with it as well. We've been using it for a month and so far very happy; it makes the front of our house much warmer.

We used it on a barn door to add more privacy in our room. Works and fits great!
