This has made all the difference in my pantry. The 3 different light brightness amounts work well for me. We'll see how long the charge lasts. It came already charged. The motion sensor seems to work well. I love that it came with a rechargeable battery (USB).

these are awesome! Easy to install and works very well. i used this at the top of my stairs and hid it on the side of the handrail. There is adjustment for brightness and night time versus daytime. The 10ft length matched perfectly with my handrail length. I will get another one, so i have motion detect at the bottom of stairs.

I used these LED ribbon lights to illuminate our staircase. They look and function great but adhesion and placement could be a challenge depending on your situation. Having a tubular metal stair rail setup, made it a little more difficult for attachment to a curved and textured painted metal surface. Each situation will be different so some may have easier ways to attach. I would recommend trying out different layouts with the ribbon illuminated before final attachment. I opted for the underside of a base rail which casts a perfect light on the stairs without glaring us with the LEDs being directly exposed. Although the rails were smooth and painted, the surface did not accept the self-adhesive glue on the LED strip very well. Even though it was wiped clean and degreased, it stuck ok at first but started to peel off within a couple of days. Our package did come with second roll of adhesive foam tape that is labeled as automotive trim tape. The limited instructions did not make mention of this additional tape but I assume this will help with the adhesion of the LED ribbon on rough or difficult surfaces. Making turns can also be a challenge if the tape is not oriented perpendicular to the corner or curve. You may need to get creative depending on your situation. The length of cable from the sensor unit to the first LED on the ribbon is fairly short but again, this may not be a problem in some situations. The controller/sensor unit lets you run the lights ON/OFF or Auto motion sensing or nighttime on. You can also adjust the brightness although the dimmest setting is still fairly bright for night lighting purposes. The sensor works well to come on as you approach so great for night time motion sensing. Also wish the ribbon was a couple of feet longer for our staircase design but overall I would still recommend but you may need to address problems with the ribbon adhesive not sticking well.

Installed easily under a stair rail. Three different levels of brightness. I like that its rechargeable. Absolutely perfect. Great for stair safety. Just the right amount of light.

Works really well in my jewelry cabinet. Nice white color lights make selection easy. Also, easy to charge with included USB cord.

Lights buttons are barely moveable. They don't click into place and there's no "definite" spot for each setting. Slide up and down, but there's no groove to put it into spot. Mine are on motion sense and barely get turned on because they lead down basement. However, they hardly turn on with movement & after 2 days, needs charged already. Tape doesn't stick, hence the second roll of tape they send you. Charged it up and now won't work on motion sensor...either on or off. Big waste of money, yet again!!!

Have been using this light as closet lighting and it’s not the best. The battery doesn’t last very long and even when fully charged the light isn’t super bright. The plug of the lights into the battery is not secure and flickers the lights unless holding it steady. The Velcro and adhesive on the Velcro to mount is very sticky and has pulled the sheet rock off the wall when I try to remove to charge.

I bought this light earlier this year to run behind the bars of a dark closet in my apartment. To start, the adhesion does NOT stick well, I'm constantly applying hidden tape to keep it up. Secondly, and most importantly (we can always solve adhesive problems), the light has gotten NOTICEABLY less dim over the last month. It's almost at about half the LED as when we started, and I'm considering just tossing the entire light. While I love the idea of a long string light, and the form design of the strip is nice, it doesn't do the job and I'm still squinting to see things inside my closet. Not to mention the cord is very sensitive and if you move it too much by the sensor it'll flicker on and off. Wish I could return it. Pro's: It's rechargeable so no need to worry about the disposable battery.
