Does what it says
After only using for one day, I can say this item works well and does what it says.... it provides A/C power to older Dell (and I assume HP) laptops and SFF PCs. Its large central adapter (the 'brick') is uniquely shaped in that it is somewhat flatter and thinner than others I have seen. This means it might fit in to a bag-pouch a little more easily. I don't have an amp-meter to measure current or voltage, but it charged my old laptop up in just 60+ minutes (a lot of this depends on the health of the battery, not the A/C adapter). But i have no reason but to give a full RECOMMENDED to this A/C adapter and 5 stars!

Works for my inspiron 15 7000
I have an Inspiron 7000 gaming edition. I lost my original charger while moving. This one works great and fits the charging port. I would definitely recommend it if it is the correct power and fit for your computer.

Looks like the OEM!
My dog chewed my original Dell charging cable in two. I tried to repair it but have been a little scared of it coming apart again on one of my many trips. I saw this at a very attractive price point and took a chance. Not only does it look like my OEM charger assembly, it specs out the same, and it performs just fine. Very happy I found it.

A good replacement power supply unit
I use a Dell laptop to drive my CNC milling machine and the power supply unit died. I got the HXHTEC as a replacement and I am pleased with the performance. At 180W this unit is double the old power supply and it works well.

It failed only after two months !!
The media could not be loaded. Never buy the charger fit at the store !! After using only two months, it failed! It became very unstable and finally stopped charging when I opened some software and ran the computer. I had to buy a new charger fit from another store and this new one worked very well. So never buy it from this store.
