So I just got into roasting my own coffee beans. I got these bags to off gas the newly roasted coffee and to give some as gifts. Bags are bigger than the amount I can roast at one time, but still great to have and the price was good. They seem to work great. The vent works and the top seal closes well, even after multiple uses.

I bought this because of the price. It works really well, seals really well, and it is able to vent. I recommend going with it.

I needed a fill in on bags until my order of my current bags arrived. These looked to be a close alternative. The structure looked good, heavy weight, nice feel. Those are the positives. The one negative is the strength of the bag. One bag of 50 arrived with a hole near the valve. Two other bags were punctured with normal handling. 3 out of 50, and 2 of 10 I used already. I won’t return them since I used 8. I might return them and not expect credit. I can’t risk bags busting open and having my product spill out. I’ll take the loss on this one either way.Upon looking at my current bags and these, the difference is an additional layer in my current bag that adds tensile strength. It seems like these bags from Amazon have no such layer, making them prone to holes.
