This is YEAR THREE we are using these folders and I just cannot say how impressed I am with product quality. Folders in the store are one to three dollars each and the paper and wears out and rips easily within a few months. I don't enjoy making time (or have the time honestly) to school supply shop several times throughout the year. I am that mother who will buy four boxes of crayons on sale and save them for use throughout the year, but these folders I NEVER have to replace!!! I call these the "forever" folders because my kids use them and abuse them all school-year. At school year-end I wipe them down--yes, crayon and sticker glue comes off too--and we set them aside for next class year. These are barely ok; with their thin flimsy plastic and loosely securing flaps that let the papers within jostle around. Their durability and brilliant colors make them ideal for my purposes compared to card stock folders which tend to fall apart much faster and whose colors are less intense (which is just less fun for me :) ). Most of the office supply stores around me stock loads of card stock 2 pocket folders, but very few poly folders (except the ones with the duo-tang metal prongs in them ... and I don't want the metal prongs).
