Digital Evidence & Forensics Boot CD Disc Disk DVD [PC-LINUX-MAC-MOBILE]

I have not tried this item but it makes me wonder since all the reviews seem to come from people that have tried the same group of items and have given them 5 stars.be careful and happy shopping

Why would someone need a forensics boot CD? One reason is safety as this disc allows you to boot up any computer and NOT change files on any of that computers hard drives, which could potentially alert someone that you were there. This dvd has been very useful at work and I try to find any reason to use it. For instance, when I'm at someone's desk and I boot up their computer you can see the panic set in when I start presenting website statistic information (where you have been, what you did and for how long)... the look is one of those "you know that I know what you do at work"! Hilarious!

Purchased this item and had to contact the company for the manual, once received I discovered a whole new world about data access and literally how easy it is to pull data off an iPhone/android or access hidden or secured files in any operating system. There is a learning curve but its a great set of tools even if you only use a few of them
