Game Changer!
Wow, where to begin?! It’s a brush. It’s plastic. But it has changed my life. Truly!I have super frizzy, super tangly, super stubborn, long 3b/3c hair. It used to take me about 30 minutes in the shower on hair wash day (every 3-4 days). Half that time was detangling, another quarter was picking all the hair off of me so it didn’t go down the drain and clog it. I used to detangle by using a detangler spray 20 or so minutes before I got in the shower, then washed, then used very liberal amounts of conditioner while I finger detangled, then picked off hair, then used a similar style brush to this that is much less flexible, then picked off hair, then rinsed (finishing with a cold rinse), then put in leave in conditioner, then picked off hair, then put in a styler cream, then picked off hair, then put in gel, and picked off hair one last time. Each time I put a product in I’d have to do a teensy bit more detangling for knots missed or re-tangled as well as getting the hair off my hands and body. With this brush I don't finger detangle at all, there is ZERO additional detangling needed with each product, virtually no hair to pick off my hands and body (almost all in the brush, which is easy to get out), and there is half the amount of hair in total coming out. It now takes me about 15 or so minutes in the shower to do my hair. It’s so easy I barely feel like a curly girl! Hah!I’m also using it on my young daughters. One has wavy-2a very fine long hair. I do the same thing as above, and it’s so painless and quick and stays less tangled even after it’s dry. My other daughter has straight fine short hair, and I’ve done the same with her. I blow dry her hair (with a different brush), and it’s so much easier and smooth after this process. The magic of this brush is using it wet with conditioner. I’ve done that many times with other combs and brushes and fingers, but nothing has ever come close to what this one does. I’ve used it dry on my curly daughter’s hair, and it’s ok (better than most, but nothing incredible); wet is the best way for this and for most curly hair anyway. So if you have curly hair, or any hair that tends to tangle, GET THIS BRUSH! It will pull out less hair (in total and shedding onto your body and hands if you have that issue), be less painful, do a better job of detangling, and do it all quicker!

Work well
There is nothing I disliked about the brush. Lovedvth Price because it was cheap then one I got a big box store. The handle better then the other brush I got from the big box store because it was thicker which made it better to grip. The bush head it is more compact so it seems more durable and it works extremely well on my hair. And I can't for get I got two.

Kept one and gave one to my mom.
I have long curly/coily African American hair. I still don't get that hair typing system but my best guess is that part of my hair is 3C, 4A, and 4B. It has grown below my bra strap. When it started getting longer, I found that I dreaded wash days, and was losing hair by the handfuls. It was getting harder to manage the more it grew and it was startingto get thinner from me ripping it out. I saw the EZ Detangler reviews on YouTube and had to have it.So this hasn't completely replaced my wide tooth comb but I still give it 5 stars because it has made my wash days so much easier. I used to have to stand in the shower with the water running on my hair detangling section by section with a wide tooth comb. Now, I can get on out of the shower (instead of staying in until all the hot water had run out). I take the wide tooth comb and gently detangle the ends. I then use this detangler to fully detangle each section. I am getting less breakage too. I also like using it to smooth product through my hair. I am not doing "wash and gos" right now. I usually do a halo flat twist. Trying to use this time of working from home due to covid to really glow up, take care of body, mind, spirit. Protective styles are my go to but if you are someone who likes doing the wash and go, this detangler along with your favorite products for curl definition will really smooth your hair and bring out tge smoothest, most defined curls with much less frizz. My mom's hair is broken and damaged from years of relaxers and even though she has been natural for over a year, she refused to do the big chop which caused her hair to continue to break and split as she transitioned. I gave her the second detangler and her hair growth/retention increased dramatically.

Detangles Coily Curly Hair With Less Effort
I was doubtful this brush would work well, but it works perfectly to wet detangle my 3c/4a hair. I switched to washing my hair once a week several years ago but I recently started dreading wash days because of how long it would take to detangle my hair, especially the 4a hair at the nape of my neck. It would take 30 frustrating minutes, copious amounts of conditioner, a wide tooth comb, AND a Goody brand Tangle Teezer to get to “good enough”. Now it takes 10 minutes, less conditioner, and this single brush to get the job done but with better results than my previous method (i.e. my hair STAYS detangled for a longer length of time). The material quality is good and the bristles aren’t as “floppy” during use as my mind anticipated they would be. I use the provided bristle spacer to brush through more area at once, and it has stayed in place well. Several reviewers noted that this piece did not stay in place, but mine has only popped off once after I dropped the brush. It was easy enough to put back in, even with slippery conditioner hands. Just make sure to have the spacer pushed firmly INTO the alignment holes on the back of the bristle spines.

Not the best for thick hair
I have very thick, course 3c curls. My hair gets dry and matted very quickly and I also deal with breakage. I’d say this brush would be better for people with thinner hair that’s already pretty detangled. I can barely get the brush to go through my hair. The way the brush is built makes it very wobbly and it won’t go through my hair correctly. It feels uncomfortable trying to brush through my hair because of how non-sturdy it is, even with conditioner in my hair. I unfortunately still have to use my wide tooth comb to the hardcore detangled and take out matting. However with that being said, it is pretty good at getting the small tangles out of my hair after I’ve gotten rid of the larger ones.

Great for 4C hair
Amazing for 4C hair. Has changed the way I detangle on wash day. Sent the second to a family member with 4C hair and she's just as excited. It detangles, making your hair workable, with minimal to no loss.
