Really nice. It will take some time to break in before it opens totally flat. The paper is nice. It's quite thick. Wetter fountain pen inks will do well on it; the paper is quite absorbant. I tested with Emeraude de Chivor with a stub nib and there was no feathering, no bleeding, very minimal ghosting. I hope they always sell these, they are perfect for what I need. I really like the rounded corners, also! (isn't that a weird thing to say? Ha ha)

I bought these for taking psychotherapy notes of sessions and it's really nice that they aren't a full-size notebook which can feel distracting and bulky. These fit in my Travelon purse, which can hold a small tablet so it's very convenient for me to just go to work with the notebook I need without needing a separate bag or carrying it in my arms. The cover is quite durable and soft to touch. I've never cut my hands on it or seen any peeling. What prompted me to buy these was the promise that you could lay it open flat without fighting with it, as I did my previous notebook. While it doesn't have any of the pre-made form like boxes of a notebook meant for psychotherapy, I find that I don't miss that at all. The line sizes/spaces are just like any regular notebook, so I don't have to miniaturize my writing and it has been quite comfortable to write in it while it's on my lap. I'm using a pen that doesn't smear, so I can't speak to that possibility of bleed-through, but the pages don't feel cheap and thin. I have purchased these again and again and hope that Le Vent continues to offer these as I will be a life-long customer.

These are perfect for what I needed. I wanted refills that worked with my leather wrap journal and these seem made for it. I am thrilled and I will purchase them again. The paper holds the ink better than I imagined! Great item.

It's a notebook; it does what it says on the tin. It's not a *nice* notebook, but for the price it's serviceable and I like that it has simple lined paper with few unnecessary flourishes (the "notebook" label on the front cover is a bit redundant). No fancy TOC, calendar or to-do list pages, which I never use anyway.It's a bit stiff, especially if you try to lay it completely flat - it doesn't really live up to the "Lay Flat" claim imho. But as long as you hold it down with one hand it works well enough. On the other hand, because of the thick, stiff covers it does feel sturdier than similar small notebooks, if that matters to you.

I treated myself to a new leather binder and these fit perfectly. I bought about six and glad I did! When writing is a very sharp tip and the paper is thick enough that it doesn’t bleed through.

I'll be using these for my work journal/sketchbook to track projects and hours. I especially like the recycled/recyclable materials and the spiral that allows the book to lie flat. It's also compact enough that it doesn't take up a bunch of space on my desk or in my purse/bag (once I'm back to meeting with clients in offices anyways). The cover is simple and the paper is good opaque quality. Nice books for many uses!

Love to use my rolling ball Tombow pens on these pads. Does not leak through to the other side so I can write on both sides!
