Can you remove the metal slates & use an adjustable bed?

Hello, here, the post and the middle backbone of this canopy bed frame can be removed but is not adjustable. It is for convenience when moving. Hopes this answer will help you.

Im not sure how tall the bed it is. But I can say that im 5'2 and have to tip toe to reach the top from standing on the floor
