Rachael Ray Cucina Dinnerware 16-Piece Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Mushroom Brown

Love these dishes!
I have been looking for a new set of dinnerware to match our updated kitchen. I had a hard time finding the perfect set that was the grey closest to our backsplash. After searching, I found that these had a "wavy pattern" very similar to our tile and the color seemed very close. I was hesitant to order after reading the reviews, but I ended up ordering two sets. When they arrived, I unpacked all of the dishes (which were wrapped and packaged very well). I found that only one dinner plate had the smallest imperfection (there is a small black speck in the glaze baked on the ceramic). Also, I was worried that the mugs were smaller in capacity compared to my old mugs, but the mug holds the largest cup setting on my two button Keurig classic (I think 8 oz) with cream/sugar without overflowing. Overall, the dishes are beautiful and match my kitchen perfectly. I am very pleased with these.

All chipped in less than a year!
These are beautiful but not well made at all! I’ve bought a lot of Rachael Rays things and I’ve always been happy with them. I’ve had these less than a year and they are all chipped! And we aren’t hard on our things. We take great care of them. Before I bought these I had fiesta Ware dishes for 15 years and there’s not a single mark on any of them. I’ve had this for a year and now need to replace my dishes already. Don’t buy.

Nice Dishes minus a few scratches, chips, and glazing flaws. :(
Well packaged! I live in Alaska and not one dish was broken. Lots of boxing and bubble wrap goes a long way when shipping here. The dishes are nice. The color is more sea foam and not really blue ( Which I actually like better). The glazing on them is flawed in many areas though. In many of the dishes you'll see white spots where the coloring/glazing wasn't properly done. Most of those spots do have the clear coat over them so it shouldn't be an issue in chipping, microwaving, or dish-washing HOWEVER two of the dishes have actual chips in them so that's a bummer. One bowl is scratched deep through the glaze. I don't believe any of this was done during shipping because they were very well wrapped/packaged. I think its a manufacture issue. If I didn't live out in the boonies (which is why I ended up ordering online) I'd send them back. It's just not worth the hassle to me and overall I like the dishes. The chips and scratches are just disappointing because I know this can eventually cause cracking with regular use.So overall, nice dishes, nice color but the manufacture needs to work on the glazing issue and figure out a way to improve quality assurance because the scratching and chipping clearly didn't happen during shipping.

Rachel Ray customer service SUCKS!
I ordered a set of the pumpkin dishes. The dishes themselves are beautiful and I can't wait to use them; BUT, one of the dinner plates arrived broken. I immediately started to file a claim with amazon and was directed from amazon to the potsandpans.com website for Meyer Brand/Rachel Ray. First of all, the website link from amazon no longer works. If you call the number provided, the rep cannot help you and will tell you to go to support.rachelraykitchenware.com (oh, and by the way she said it could be up to 10 weeks before they will get around to my claim in a very "good luck/screw you!" tone of voice!). I went to that website as directed and was directed to call customer support or chat with a rep online to determine if they will need me to ship my order back or not. I tried to chat and received an automated message stating that the chat feature no longer works, so I will have to get back on the runaround train and call customer service again. I even googled the manufacturer, Meyer, and their website customer service e-mail bounces back because it's no longer functioning. I feel like somewhere, in mid-America, there is an abandoned Rachel Ray warehouse with tumbleweed rolling through it and the entire customer service department just up and quit! Sadly, I had hoped to order a total of 3 sets of these dishes, but I am afraid to attempt that now! I think it's pitiful for amazon to even stock a product that cannot be backed up with decent customer service. 10/10 would not buy again! Update: I received an automated response from Rachel Ray on 8/10/21 stating they received my claim. It's now 10/27/21 and I've still not heard a peep. I've still got a useless set of dishes boxed up that I can't use. Amazon can't help me and Rachel Ray won't. While waiting for Rachel Ray help the return window has now closed.

Perfect size, perfect color
I love these and bough 2 sets last year. They still look new. The color is perfect. I was hesitant because there are so many shades of red and I often don't get what I see. I definitely didn't want bright red or red red. These are like a brick color and are perfect. The sizes are perfect too. Some plates and bowls are so large these days you can hardly fit them in the cabinet. I'd call these average size maybe like in some restaurants. The weight is also heavy and sturdy but not ridiculously heavy. They're just right! Five stars for sure!

No help
Haven’t had a chance to use them. I received my package and could tell it was a return. That didn’t bother me as I thought maybe the person before didn’t like them. The first box (as cups, plates etc. are in separate package inside the bigger box) was cups and removed the first one to discover a significant chip. The kind of chip that could hurt a person’s lip. I really think it’s a beautiful set and would love for them to send me a replacement. I reached out to the seller immediately and the next day I had email, asking for pictures. I sent them right away as we took pictures of me unboxing. Haven’t heard anything from them since. Been 5 days total and 3 since sending the pictures. I didn’t even bother them with the horrible glazing/bubbles on a dinner plate. So sad, I like them so much but these cost to much to keep with a broken cup. Especially when we are avid coffee drinkers.

Pretty and nice finish.UPDATED REVIEW
Super nice item. It sounds fragile and I am extra careful when washing them. I like the colour and the trim. The coffee cups are relatively small, but that's ok. I like the finish, it's good looking, but like i said, it sounds fragile when I clash them together. Also, I received two packages because the first one had a broken bowl.Update after 8 mths of use: broke a plate a bowl and a mug and chipped a dinner, a bowl and salad plate. We are not rough on our stuff so they do break easily. We dobt have a dishwasher so we have to be extra careful when washing this dinnerware. Touching (or hitting together very very delicately) two plates together and bang! A chip. It seems sensitive to heat as well : we put a grilled cheese sanwich from the pan on a plate and it exploded. Ive had other dinnerware able to stand much harder treatment and not break nor chip. Its cheap. And i paid 65$ for the set in july 2015! Now its up to 100$!I suggest you shop around before clicking buy on this item here. There are better products and better prices out there!

Medicore at best
The color is NOT cranberry (unless you're talking about old cranberries that are fading). The color is more 'faded' than the picture would suggest (the picture looks like a darker red). One mug and one plate had a defect in color and glaze... apparently they will be replaced if you care to invest the money to package and ship them at your expense. How nice.

They are OK
These dishes are small- maybe we used to have over sized dinnerware but the mugs are tiny, the bowls are tiny- the plate sizes are nice- the matching pasta bowls are hardly shallow.I'm a really big fan of RR, and have a lot of the bakeware and ramikins, but just not a fan of these. Oh- but the glaze and purple color is gorgeous!

Chips and breaks easily
Nice set. Unfortunately, I chipped a cup just unpacking them. Then we drop them and have broken about one thing every month or so on the tile floor. Almost all the cups have chips in them after 18 months of ownership.

Love it!
I love these! Thick, heavy dishes. A little smaller then standard.
