What my son wanted
My son is a high school gamer, and this is the same keyboard that his older brother has. His brother's has lost one light, so 2 or 3 of the keys do not go through all the colors like the rest of the keys, but he says that it still works fine, so doesn't want to replace it for a LED light out. This one (same brand, same model) seems to be holding up well. He is on it hours upon hours, and loves it for gaming. He also has to do school work with it, and says it works well for that. Feels good, is fast, responsive. Certainly more expensive than many keyboards available, but he feels it is worth the price.

Really great keyboard!
If you're looking for the cheaper high end gaming keyboard this works fantastically. I only upgraded to the g915 lights peed clucky from this because of the raised keys for easier cleaning and an aluminum fascia on it.

Great keyboard, but definitely used.
Great keyboard, but definitely used and not like new. I spent an hour taking all the keys off and cleaning it. There was so much filth under the keycaps.

Keycaps wore out, some lights failed, no lights no alt characters
It looks great out of the box. Its bright, lighting customization is solid. The switches are as expected. The alternate characters (! @ # etc), are NOT lit up, which is annoying. After about a year of regular use, the key caps literally started to wear out. The "S" key went first, then others followed. Layers of the paint just wore away and eventually made it to the bottom "clear" layer and the letters were no longer readable. Also worth mentioning, after taking a couple keys off a few times, the post on the backside broke, making them unusable. I could have bee more careful taking them off though. I ultimately just bought a full new set of doubleshot keycaps. They aren't as bright as the original, but they have been far more durable, and they also like up the alt characters.Further, each individual key has a red, a green, and a blue tiny LED under it, and using different combination of brightness of those is how it can show basically every color. I have lost over a dozen of those individual LEDs under different keys, all different colors. So when it tries to show certain colors it just can't, because the right LED underneath no longer works. It looks pretty tragic sometimes.I expected much more from a ~$100 keyboard.
