Custom Teeth Whitening Trays (Upper+Lower Set)

After trying those awful thermoforming trays, I decided to invest in custom trays to whiten my teeth more effectively at home. I learned I could have them made at my dentist's office, where it would cost a few hundred dollars. Then I browsed Amazon to see what offerings there were for custom trays. I was wary of listings that had titles reading like advertisements and being sold by companies that I could not find any information about online. After all, you're putting this stuff if your mouth, so you want to make sure it's safe and coming from a reputable seller. So I read-up on Sporting Smiles and they seemed the most reputable- they make their trays in-house and have a dentist supervising. I had a few questions before purchasing, which were answered courteously and promptly. In the initial pack, you receive the impression materials, trays to put the material in and create your moulds, instructions, a form to fill out and return postage label. The impressions are fairly easy to make, and Sporting Smiles have instructional videos online that are VERY helpful! After making my impressions, I was a little concerned how one of my impressions turned out, so I took a photo of the impression and emailed it to Sporting Smiles. They responded the same day, and informed me that my impression looked fine. So I filled out the return form, where you get to request a case color, and dropped it all off at the post office. Exactly two weeks later, I received my trays. They fit perfectly and I can confirm they are of dental quality (they look just like a friend's trays, that were done at dentist's office). The trays are already cut to size, so no need to do any cutting yourself. You also receive two big 10ml syringes of whitening gel. I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the gel yet, as I've only done one treatment. However, I have confidence in it's quality and safety, as it's coming from a dentist! The whole experience with Sporting Smiles has been seamless. Excellent customer service, excellent quality and excellent value-- sure beats spending hundreds of dollars on the same product at my dentist's office. I would highly recommend this company and product.

Great product and exactly what I was hoping for! I am happy I came across Sporting Smiles while looking to buy whitening strips on Amazon. After using my custom trays for a week now, this is the best option for whitening in my opinion. I have used strips and generic trays in the past. I usually quit before getting good results because the whitening process was slow and my teeth and gums would get sensitive. Having custom molds and custom trays made makes a huge difference. First, the gel doesn't get all over my gums. Second, the trays stay on my teeth and are thin and comfortable while bleaching. And finally, my teeth are getting whiter faster than in the past. The process of making the molds was straight forward and it only took 2 weeks to get them made and sent back. Now I have trays I can use over again in the future. The price is very good when you compare to what your dentist charges. I am very impressed. Highly recommended!

This company is amazing !! When I first ordered this kit I was a little worried about the service because it seemed to good to be true for the price. I was planning to go with this company Smile Bright after hearing so many reviews about them but I found it to be a little pricey, so I thought to look for a company that offered the same service for the fraction of the cost. I stumbled upon this set and another on amazon and went with this one because of the great reviews it had. I knew I was safer going the amazon way because they offer buyer protection. When I received my mold kit I noticed after reading the instructions they also have a website . At the Sporting Smile website I saw videos on how to do molds and what other product could be made besides whiting trays from the kit. After I made my impressions at night I took a picture of it because I had concerns about if I did it right and I then sent a email to Sporting Smiles and they responded the morning after. The responder sent me an email saying it was fine, so after reading that I used the return postage provided to send it back that day. After around two weeks I was curious when the finished trays would be done, so I sent another email, turns out it was being shipped that day and they told me when my mold package made it to them. I now have my kit after only few days after the email and I am very satisfied with the service. The trays fit perfect and the gel is not to bad either. I have used the kit twice since yesterday and my teeth are 4 shade lighter, I can measure this with a teeth whiting chart the provided with my kit,I found that really handy. Overall I am happy with the Kit, and thought it was cool that the company keep your molds for a year and half so you can make other purchases for a discounted price.

This product is terrific, and well worth the money!! The process of making the molds was simple and almost fun. I appreciated that customer service responded quickly to let me know the imprints I made were sufficient. My custom trays arrived 2 weeks after I mailed back my impressions, and so far so good. After four 30-minute sessions my teeth are definitely whiter—my friend even noticed today without my telling her I was whitening! Be careful not to put too much gel in the trays or it will seep onto your gums and burn them. I learned that the hard way ;) Now I use a Q-Tip to apply the gel to the trays. A little goes a long way and the experience is much more pleasant than white in strips, which make me drool. These trays do not cause extra salivation for me. Easy peasy, and effective!

I had whitening trays that unfortunately got lost in a move. I thought this would be a good replacement since I did not want to spend $300 at an ortho for some glorified teeth trays. I followed the directions, mixed the putty, and when I tried to do the first set of teeth, I discovered the trays were too long. Here is the thing, once you shorten the trays, you can not return them to their original length, so it is a gamble when you are trying and sizing them without the putty. So now I cant mess up because I only have enough putty for the top and bottom. I shorten the trays and try again. Lined up my teeth, let it sit in my mouth for the 4 minutes, and when I pop it out, one of the front teeth had a hole where the putty was too thin (again I followed the direction and rolled the putty into a nice, evenly distributed log before I placed it in.) So now, I am out of putty for my top teeth. I understand they will send you more free, but honestly, trying to get the perfect bite (the pictures they send do a good job of showing you how the imprint should look. Good luck getting your imprint that way the first few times) is dang near impossible, especially with so little putty that sets SO quickly. I honestly gave up knowing it wouldn't matter if I got my bottom teeth right. Waste of money. The directions are good, so a star for that.

I ordered whitening trays and the top tray was a bit loose and it didn't stay up as well as I would have expected. I took some pictures of the fit in my mouth and sent those pictures along with one of the former trays I had from a dentists office years back which was a little deeper. I hadn't heard anything back a day later and called the company and was told by the friendliest guy that they had already re-made the tray and shipped it back to me. I was shocked (and thrilled)! They arrived and fit great!!! So then I thought if they did that one that well, they could probably do the bottom tray better as well as my teeth are a bit weird on the bottom and the tray I had was a little loose. I wished I had done this all at once but didn't expect such great results, so I went back to them and asked if they would re-do the lower tray as well. They did say they could only promise a one time fix but would do it for me this time! I got that one back and it's great as well.

-Creating the imprints for the bleaching trays was simple: I thought they gave great instructions. It took about 3 weeks from the time I ordered the kit on Amazon, the molds arrived, sent it back, and received the final trays in the mail. They are thin and comfortable! -In terms of the bleaching gel -- somehow I didn't even realize this kit came with bleach! Came as a nice surprise. That said: BE CAREFUL when using this bleach, it is VERY strong (& effective), but after the 10 seconds of my first attempt I gave a patch of my gums a chemical burn which turned them white for 5-10 minutes and then the skin had to heal for a few days. Ouch. I still give this product 5 stars because that bleach works amazing. Rather than using the trays for this bleach, I used cheek retractors and painted the bleach on my teeth to prevent any possibility from it touching my gums again. I saw great results after just one 20-min session!
