No fluff, just content`
This is a good guide if you have some software knowledge already and are looking to crush the CTFL. I've done software testing on my hobby projects, so I knew some of the concepts without knowing that I knew them (ex: equivalence classes). I strongly recommend pairing this with the patshala website (punch the name into a search engine, you'll see what I mean). Most importantly, I passed! :)

The Best book
I did not attend any outside training for CTFL, and clear my test in 1st attempt with the help of this book and with the help of some mock test, this book covers all the chapters very well. This is the best book to prepare for this exam

Very good supplementary guide CTFL
This is a very good supplementary guide for the CTFL. Unfortunately, the 2018 should already be sunsetted and there may be missing "newer" methodologies or standards the current version has, but this booklet should cover 70% of the material you needed. The sample questions this book provided is actually more difficult than the actual CTFL, but it helps you think how you should be answering the questions. Reading the syllabus and this self study guide should be enough for the CTRL for now.

Must book if you have not taken any external training course
This is a great book for those who are preparing for the CTFL exam on your own. The book covers all the topics of the 2018 V3.1 syllabus in a simple and easy to understand language. Chapter 4 is very detailed with multiple examples and explanations which are otherwise quite tricky. The summary after each section is also helpful during revision.Perfect for people who have recently started their career in testing.

Great reference material for ISTQB
All the concepts are very clearly articulated. Each chapter has a nice set of sample test questions towards the end which help to recollect/remember/review key concepts. There is also a key exam take out's section for quick final review and a glossary of keywords for easy reference. Overall, this book is very helpful for anyone preparing for the CTFL exam based on the new 2018 V3.1 Syllabus.

Every Software QA should read it
I have met a lot of self-taught SQA folks and they all lacked skills in the process. Do your self a favor and read this book, you will see SQA from a better angle

Very useful for preparing for the foundation exam.
I had to help my team clear the ISTQB. This is part of their annual goals. My team used this book and was able to clear the exam and grasp the concepts clearly. I also used the opportunity to read the book and I understand why they prefer this one. Good book if you want to prepare for the exam yourself.
