Does the faucet end have the tapered rubber washer?

Yes, it comes with an O- ring type of gasket.

Title mentions "white" but it states that it's all metal/chrome/stainless. Are connectors all metal and braiding is all stainless? What's white on it?

Hello Skotko, Yes the connectors are all metal and the braiding is all stainless steel. There is nothing white on it. The listing has an error in it. Unfortunately, Amazon only gives sellers the opportunity to list from the Amazon database once the original listing has been posted. Often the person who originally placed the item for sale will make a mistake and not correct it. Once that happens it can be very difficult to get the error corrected and the listing will remain with an error. If another seller comes along and lists the same item that seller is not allowed to correct the error. Wish there was a better way to correct the listing errors, however it takes a lot of time and effort by a seller to get the error corrected. Most sellers are not able or willing to spend the time to get the error corrected, so all to often the error remains in the listing.

Can this faucet conection resist hot water ?

That's what I used them for and no problems.

Does this have lead-free certification?

According to the manufacturer it is. Specs say: "No-lead certified"

Needed this after I bought a brand new faucet for my bathroom. Old faucet was a 3/8" inlet. The new one was a 5/8" inlet, thus this adapter. So far no leaks and everything is well. Would buy again.
