Contracts (Examples & Explanations) 6th Edition

This book was amazing! I wanted to write my review after our grades were released since, as you know, law classes do not provide a measure of your success throughout different intervals in the semester. The E&E helped me with analyses and seeing things in the bigger picture. While I admit that I changed several studying/social habits in my spring semester, I'm pretty sure that the E&E book is a major factor as to why I jumped from a D+ (fall) to a B (spring). I highly recommend this book and look forward to purchasing the E&E series for my upcoming semesters. Good luck to you.

Good book

Very, very helpful book. I used this book my first year of law school and it truly helped me master contracts. I would first of all recommend to read the book before the semester starts, because during the semester you won't have that much time. If you didn't have a chance to read it before, definitely read it during the semester, just remember that whatever your professor says...goes. There were not that many concepts that my professor disagreed with this book on, but it's important to remember that. As a gift, I sent the author my book, "Let's LSAT". It was my way of saying thanks.

This text provides in-depth discussion of Contracts. It is probably more thorough than your professor, but you can pick and choose which sections you want to read. It's not set up so that you must read the entire thing front he start. They have a case index that can be useful if you want to see what you're reading is in the book. Additionally, the general index in the back is extremely helpful.My only critique is that one subject might be discussed in multiple sections of the book, causing you to flip lots of pages and speed read quite a bit. However, it's a useful tool if you find yourself to be struggling with contracts!

If you are studying for the FYLE this is a must have. It cuts through a lot of confusion and gets to the point. Furthermore, the examples are very close to some of the fact patterns on the exams I have already taken. I wish I would have had this at the beginning of 1L.

This was my first semester trying the Examples and Explanation series and I loved it!I was fortunate enough to have the casebook written by Blum, the author of this supplement, and reading this book substantially helped with a deeper understanding of the subject. Even if using a different Contracts casebook, I would still recommend this supplement.

Drastically helped me with my Contracts I & II courses in my first year of law school. If you are studying for an exam this will go a long ways in helping you. Also a great compliment to whatever text books you are using in your class to just help you understand the fundamentals of a contract better.

The book s cover is messed up. Some pages are highlighted. It is not horrible. But not what I expected.
