The gift that kept giving! Bought this set and another for a different one of the kids- they had a BLAST taking them apart and putting them back together. Never has an Advent activity been as fun, yet as inexpensive and well made, as this!

This was a nice change from the usual playmobile calendar we get for our son. He’s 8 and loves puzzles, so this is definitely more challenging than those! It’ll be something the whole family can help with.Pros: He’s only done the first puzzle, and tried to do it on his own at first, but then needed the instructions. I can tell after the first few of these he’ll get the hang of it. He said he loves the “metal pieces” and got very excited once he figured out the goal of the puzzle and got the pieces separated. He also started to look ahead at the puzzles on the picture instructions and picked out the ones he’s excited to go. Overall he loves it so far!Cons: The packaging kinda sucks. When a kid first sees this he’d have no idea what it’s for. It says “24 gifts included” on the front, and very small on the side it says “24 brain teasers”. I wish they had some pictures of what’s inside to give the kids an idea. The elf brought this, so I couldn’t really explain much until it was time to open this and get going.Also - the instructions have no rhyme or reason to their placement. They do not match up in chronological order or to the places on the calendar. You can see I thought they did at first and labeled each picture, then quickly scribbled out the numbers when I realized this lol. But it’s easy to find the puzzle instructions by matching the pictures so no big deal.I wouldn’t let the packaging cons deter you from getting this for a puzzle lover! I think older kids and adults would both love this.

It may look like a cheap advent calendar but its actually super cool! Every day is a new metal puzzles.

I like the price, the quality and the fact that is a toy that it last, tou can play for hours and it is fun.

Instead of candy this is a great countdown they get a challenge. My son loves this. Some he can get done in less than 2 minutes and some are a little tougher and take him a little longer. This was a great find!!

Great puzzle and cool gift. I wish the package wouldn't be targeted for children as much. I gave it as a gift to my boyfriend and he was very confused why because of the box.Also some of the puzzles managed to end up in the wrong pockets.But the puzzles inside are really good.I just wish the box was better

Super fun! With covid, my family is doing Advent calendars on Zoom and I'm usually able to figure out the day's tangle by the end of the zoom call. Some days it takes me a bit longer but there are enough of them that I forget how to do them if I don't revisit it every day. I was obsessed with them as a kid and I feel like I'm reliving my childhood :)

Have had so much fun with this. Even the parents enjoy doing the puzzles as well. Some are pretty hard for even my teen daughter.
