IBELL DELUXE Tower Fan with 25 Feet Air Delivery, 4 Way Air Flow, High Speed, Anti Rust Body (Black)

My mother is bronchial patient and confined to bed. There is scope for installing an AC in her room but the chilled air would be directly hitting her, whichever way it is placed (window or split). Therefore, not advisable. In Delhi's post monsoon high humid weather, it is very difficult to keep the room cool and comfortable. My brother-in-law suggested a Tower Fan. It is important to note that a few years earlier also I had surfed for a Tower Fan but the available products were somehow not to my liking. Either the product review was not ok or the price did not appear reasonable. This time when I looked through Amazon I chose iBell because the price seemed reasonable and product size convenient - not too big not too small.Although, I was a little unsure, because I had never used a Tower Fan before, I went for it because no other option was available to me, particularly, for the room mentioned above. However, to my great satisfaction, the product, till now, has fulfilled my expectations. Once installed near the door of the room, it successfully pulls in the chilled air from the hall which is AC-fitted. As a result, mother's room remains comfortably cool without the chilling effect of an AC.It is also very effective in the hall given its size. Strategically placed, in front of the open door to the front balcony, cool air rushes in till the kitchen which is a few feet away and does not open directly towards the same side, i.e., the front balcony. Overall, even without the AC on, in the afternoons, when both heat and humidity are up, the Tower Fan does have a cooling impact throughout the flat, although not comparable with an AC.I was worried about the noise level having read all the reviews posted here. But the sound is not too jarring. I have only used the machine in medium speed. and swing motion. (Of course, there is no other mode). The effectiveness of the machine is reflected in the fact that in the middle of the night it has to be switeched off as cooling reaches its optimum level, i.e., with the AC on in the hall.Only one issue - there is no remote operation facility. The manufacturers may think of adding this facility in future.The machine arrived nicely packed. Was easy to install. Delivery was, if I am not mistaken, before the scheduled date. I was lucky to get the machine without any damage as complained by a few buyers in their review here. However, the utility of the machine can only be judged by its durability and after sale service. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed.The extended warranty of the product does not come with the machine and has to be obtained on request basis to its customer care/office. The same is whatsapped. This may be included in the product detail on the site.Given its functioning so far, the price of the product appers to be procket friendly. I am not a technical person, thatswhy, cannot enumerate the merits and demerits from the mechanics point of view.But a few observations :The body of the fan is white. There should be other choices of colour as maintaining the whiteness is an issue in the capital with high level of pollutants in the air.The switches are also white in colour and the markings on the same are of a dark grey shade, the top panel being of the said colour. This restricts visibility and one has to go very close in order to see the markings or the mode on the body of the machine. It is advisable to use a different colour code for the markings and the mode to highlight the same. Better to have these kind of embossed with a thickness of a few inches that would set them apart and easily viewable from a distance. This is especially for elderly people who stay alone and do not have anybody to assist them operate such machines.Apart from the remote control, the manufacturers can also think of putting the machine on rollers or wheels for easier mobility.At the expense of adding to the cost, a de-humidification facility can also be thought of as an add-on to the existing mechanics. As of now, the machine does have an additional cooling effect (with the fans on but not the AC), especially when put on in front of open door or windows. but it is not able to minimize the level of humidity in the room.Notwithstanding the above, I will give a big thumbs up to the product manufacturer for a reasonably priced efficiently working machine.My personal worry - I have a pet who copiously sheds hair in certain seasons. I do not know how to keep the interiors of the machine clean as the grooves/vents in the machine can easily suck the hair in and derail the machine. Can I use a vacuum cleaner to clean the inside of the machine when not in motion?I hope the after sales service will be as remarkable as the product by itself.

Having reviewed about this product iBELL tower fan on the pricing and extended warranty information I have purchased this product. After 4 months we noticied some noisy while the fan is in operation. We took another few weeks and a month or two to observe and we noticed the noise level has been increased and the fan vibrates and going one side automatically due to vibration in the product.We made a complaint to ibell helpdesk mentioning the issue and we were asked to contact one support mobile number. We have contacted the support number and again asked us to contact another perosn who is Incharge with a mobile number mentioning the contact person name Vinitha.We called Vinitha on 24th Dec 2020 and given all information about the product invoice copy and serial number etc and also given a video taken about the product noise level. After that there was no response from her for few days and we had only keep checking with her several times and she doesn't respond back properly.After 2 to 3 weeks roughly around she has asked us to contact local technician and kept it repaired and if nay spare parts are required they will send us the spare parts. This kept me a bad impression about their after sales support for iBELL product. I never agreed to this as this might cause other issue like local technician has broken some parts or mis handled the product. And also since their response was not professional enough to handle customer complaints I was not used if they will reimburse the local technician Charges and other charges if applicable.When I took this serious and asked their concern person incharge contact number or their manager Incharge number through what's app messages which she again did not respond back. Tried to call several times to Vinitha and she ignored my calls. Their another support number when we tried to call is always switched off. This lady number also goes switched off after 5 PM and even I between times which we tried in afternoon times.Finally they have arranged some local technician which is not direct technician of ibell. These arranged local technician gave me a call and agreed to visit us next day and the person did not turn up. Tried calling this technician number and he doesnt respond or call us back. This was a worst experience to get after sales support from this company ibell.Again it took 7 days to arrange for another technician and finally technician visited us and serviced the product. Technician found one of the spare part was broken due to frequent vibration happened and nois elevek was increasing day by day. They replaced the part and they have to put fevistick to apply and this left us what kind of product is this. For sure this same issue will happen again in next 5 months time and by that time extended warranty also will be finished. Cost to repair will be form our pocket.We don't recommended this company tower fan and kindly don't look fir pricing since its cheaper and with extended warranty.I have made a complaint to amazon as well to look into this seller for such unprofessional company or support agents handling the customers. There is no proper customer satisfaction at all. I strongly don't recommend since their after sales support is disaster.Kindly go for a trusted brand which will last long and with less maintenance.Hope this will help others to choose the right branded product which cna last long and worths for customer spending their hard earned money.

I don't normally like to post a negative review, but need to. Bought the iBell tower fan in August. It stopped working within a couple of weeks, barely used it for a few hours a day. Fan works decently, but the motor started to get heated fast and there is a weird smell that the fan spread across the room. We immediately stopped using it. Have been trying to get in touch with IBell to have it fixed for over 2 months now. Have asked for a refund or replacement for the faulty product, but was adviced about being sent a replacement part. Unsure how they know for sure which part needs to be replaced without checking the fan. Almost like they know about the defective issues of their product, which is then wrong. Haven't received any replacement parts or any callbacks as promised. Plus they have asked us to get someone to fix the part for us as due to covid they cannot fix it.Have never had this experience with any other tower fans or coolers like symphony or others, or their service team.Ibell really needs to be taken to the consumer courts for deliberately selling cheap products, that could be a fire hazard.As well as they seriously need to improve the service center and call center.Edit : after much conversation with the ibell team and all the mess as written above we finally had a servicing agent sent with he part replaced and the fan works like a breeze. Honestly it's the best fan in it's range of 2.5to 3.5k even better than any home use pedestal fan. This has a massive throw of 25 feet and is very Powerful. Leaving them with 4 stars, and I hope quality checking has improved before products are sent out.
