Great for the price
Great for the price. Just make sure you get a cotter pin to install after the nut holding on the adjuster bolt. It does not have one and the nut will come off and the tool will fall apart. That pin is cheap and you will save a lot of $$ buying this and adding that one 10 cent pin.

This can be made to work very well with one SIMPLE modification!!
I read the reviews of this and many said the construction of it was solid but it just "falls apart". I just couldn't justify the expense of the Eastwood roller when I might use this twice in the future, so I figured I would roll the dice. Well, I did and I am happy that I chose to.The Achilles heel, the absolute weakness in this tool is the lock nut held by the cotter pin. I did a few things ahead of time, I greased ALL the threaded parts, I definitely recommend this to help against binding. I didn't even bother with the cotter pin (mine didn't even come with one, actually) since I had read it bends too easily. So I went ahead and put a steel cotter pin I had in my shop, when you get pressure on it, the lock nut begins to back off and the tool binds and locks up. No good. I then moved up to steel nail and pounded it through, figuring it's thicker and stronger. Yeah, made NO difference. Finally, I drilled a hole straight through the lock nut and the threaded shaft. This 3 minute mod, made all the difference. As you can see in the second pic, I then put a nail through it and bent it over (didn't have a nut/bolt that fit) and it worked like a charm after that. With the threaded rods greased and that mod, I had no problems. You have to adjust the pivot for the wheel with a cresent or box wrench, hand tight will NOT be sufficient when you start putting pressure on it but that was expected.Honestly, with that one fix, it did well for all four of my fenders and has since done a friends' car too. I gave it four stars for the fact that I had to mod it to make it function as it should have, out of the box.

Terrible terrible piece of garbage
Absolutely Terrible, I'm not extremely experienced with body tools but ive used my fair share of them. Everything went together good but first after about a quarter of 1 fender done the nut on the back of the longest adjustment screw kept getting tight then eventually got loose and fell off since they supplied not keeper for it. Next the red star handle for the length adjustment just unscrewed off of the bolt so I wound up having to use a vice grip for the next 1 and a half of the 2 fenders that I used it for and lastly you need about a 4 foot pipe on the wheel angle adjustment to get it not to re adjust itself on the first roll. Complete and total waste of my money I wouldve been less pissed off just beating it with a hammer

Bad but you can make it good.
You get what you are paying for and you are not paying much. With that in mind the roller is just fine. It is not ready to use out of the box. All of the fasteners and washers must be greased because it ships bone dry. If you do not do this all of the adjustment screws will gall and quickly fail. The other thing you must do is prevent the nut on the bottom of the main adjustment screw from rotating. If you do not do this the nut will rotate while you are using the roller. Best case, the nut just falls off. Worst case, the nut rotation and differences in thread pitch causes the roller to tighten when you rotate the main adjustment scew in EITHER direction. This happened to us and dented the fender we were rolling out. LOCK THAT NUT. We drilled a hole right through the center of the nut and secured it with a pin. There was a hole below the nut for a cotter pin, but that only prevented the nut from loosening, not tightening. This tool is sub harbor freight quality, which is low. However, the steel is thick and the roller is smooth. With a little love it is absolutely worth the small amount of money you are thinking about spending.

Works great if u have common sense
First time I ever used a fender roller. Works great if you have common knowledge about tools. First thing I did was used antiseaze on the main adjustment rod, then put a pin through it to keep the nut from coming off. Can use another lock nut to keep it in place. Tighten all bolts etc. now while using it,I didn’t have a problem at all. Spray some wd40 on adjustment rod shown in picture and don’t crank it hard. Slowly work it, and take steps on rolling the lip.

This Fender roller feels sturdy, I havent had any trouble with it so far (though I have only almost fully rolled one fender). That said, it was alittle tough to get it to fit over my wheel lugs (took alittle wiggling) but it did fit flush. Only real complaint I have is that the roller head swivel bolt doesnt ever 'really' tighten. I tightened it hard as I could and you could still rotate the roller on its swivel.

Works great and easy to use
Rolled my fender without any issue at all. This tool is not perfect but it definitely does what it’s meant to.

Does the job equally as the big name tool
I'm fairly handy and I understood how to use this tool. However it is missing a cotter pin to prevent the nylon nut backing out and becoming loose. That's the reason why I only ranked it a 3. Other than the nuts the tool is very well built and very heavy. Go to your hardware store and get yourself a handful of cotter pins. You will see in the adjusting portion, the long threaded bolt has a hole in it at the end where they nylon nut is located. Place a cotter in in their. Overtime you will need to replace the cotter pin as stress will be placed on it. I even recommended replacing the nylon nut for longevity purposes.I have rolled my fenders on 2 vehicles personally so far with this tool. I have also lent it out to 3 friends who have had no problems rolling fenders with this.

tool was already mounted and it seemed like it what used before
Was an amazon prime when I bought, took 3 more days to get it. The package wasn't strapped, instructions were decapitated, tool was already mounted and it seemed like it what used before. Not very impressed by amazon prime, really not.
