We LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. 🧹💜 It has been a favorite in our house for years and somehow my kids never get tired of it. The rhymes are so fun to read out loud, the illustrations are bright and whimsical, and the story has that perfect mix of sweet and just a little spooky that makes it extra magical around Halloween. 🎃👻 The witch and her cat pick up friends along the way and my kids always giggle at the silly moments and cheer at the happy ending. It is such a heartwarming story about kindness, friendship and teamwork, all wrapped up with a flying broomstick and a friendly dragon. 🐉✨ It has become a bedtime classic but honestly we pull it out year round because the kids love chanting along with the rhymes. It is also short enough to read before bed without turning into “one more story” negotiations, yet still feels like a full adventure. 💤📚 If you want a read aloud that your kids will ask for again and again, and one that you will not mind reading on repeat, this one is pure magic. Highly recommend for ages 2 to 6, but honestly it is a hit for kids and parents alike. 💛 Helpful tip: There is also a short animated film based on this book that is just as charming and makes for a fun watch after reading together. 🎥

This is a replacement for his first book. It is read every day sometimes several times a day. He loves this book. His interacting with the story is grand.

This is a must buy! Our kids have loved this book. I even took it to their elementary school to read in the fall and the class loved it as well. Sweet and fun adventure along with great messaging. Don’t pass it up!

This is a wonderful book, the rhyming, the color illustrations and the artwork are great, it's not just a book about Halloween time, it's about caring and helping others all the time and your family will love this sweet story.

This is a beautiful story, the artwork is nice, the witch looked real, I ordered it in time for Halloween, I found a lovely nurse to give it to as a gift, because she helped me during my eye treatments. The content in the book seemed appropriate for a reading aged child to read independently or for an adult to read to a loved one during story time. Great book with an easy to follow story.

This is absolutely my favorite book! I read it every year. I use to watch the movie with my students, unfortunately, my district doesn’t allow this anymore. I love how easy it is for the kids to catch on to the words and read with me.
