Powermax HearRite Size 10 Hearing Aid Battery

These batteries are a big pain to cut open. Other than that they last about 6 days versus others that only last 3 days!

Fits my hearing aids. I buy in bulk so that I don’t run out of them..

Will never buy these again. I’d rather go without hearing than buy these and wrestle with this packaging. I have significant minutes of my life I’ll never get back due to the crazy packaging on these things. They provide details on how to open the sealed plastic. It does NOT work. Even after you cut the plastic off from the “wheel” the batteries stay embedded like a tricky splinter. Seriously. It’s rare a product annoys me enough that I get online to write a review but here I am. They are cheaper, yes, and they may last about the same time as other brands. Shoot, they may even last some hours longer. But you’ll spend that much time or more just attempting to extract them from the packaging. Buy another easy access brand and use the extra time you’ll save to spend with your family, loved ones, or just fun. Yr welcome.

Product is fine, but the packaging is horrendous. I always carry extra in my wallet, just in case. I couldn’t get them out, batteries went dead and I had to go home to cut some out. One by one.

Works

The quality of the batteries is great! However, the packaging is an absolute disaster! You can't get to the batteries without tools, considerable effort, and possibly bloody fingers! The manufacturer should release a video of their CEO opening the packaging – that would be guaranteed to get a laugh!

The packaging was difficult to get into. I had to use scissors and really work at getting to the batteries, having to cut the edge and shake them down towards the opening to get them. If you're out in public and have no access to scissors, you might be going without. In several cases, I put the "new" battery into my hearing aid and it immediately started to beep at me and indicate that the battery was running low. I tried to take the battery out and place it back in thinking that it just wasn't in correctly, but I found that it didn't fix the problem. The battery stopped working within the hour consistent with a low battery. They were random within a pack (so not all in one pack) so I'm not sure why this happened.

Some time in the last year or so, all the battery companies have changed to these "child-proof " containers. So now I have these batteries scattered in places, god only knows where, and only a child can find them when they come flying out of the package while trying to get them out of said package. Come on, guys, we really need to come up with a better and safer way to do this that is easier for us older folks and doesn't cause lost batteries much more than the old way. You only get 3 stars because the batteries are great, but the package SUCKS!

Battery last only 5 days instead of 7 days of other make.
