Zipper pull is very strong structurally and worked perfectly for an adult puffy jacket that has a large zipper. Other than the color not perfectly matching the original zipper, you can not tell it is a replacement. It is too thick to fit through zippers on items like jeans, kids' clothes, or anything with smaller zippers. I've seen complaints about people struggling to open the zipper pull, but all you need to do is insert a screwdriver in the hole and tilt it to one side to offset the locking mechanism. It DOES matter which way you twist so pay attention to the way the zipper is positioned. I needed to replace a zipper pull on my boat weather enclosure system. So easy to pop open with a small screwdriver and closed and worked perfectly! Recommend for zipper pull replacement needs!

I bought this product b/c I needed a strong zipper pull. Believe me, this is what it says it is. The only hang up is that you need Herculean strength to open the jaws for attachment to your garment. I used a screw driver to twist the jaws open & a pair of pliers to gently ensure the jaws were closed. I wish they arrived with the jaws open. It would make it so much easier for the customer. Cutomer Alert: There are THREE "pulls" per package/box. I didn't realize that fact & purchased two separate orders. I'm happy with the overall purchase, since I have no fear of it coming off.

So, on my travel overhead luggage bag both of the main compartment zipper pulls had broken off and I was looking for a solution - this so far has been the perfect trick to solve my problem. I only needed 2 of the 3 and they were easy to open with needle nose pliers (as recommended by the instructions), put them through the zipper loop, pushed them into the locked position and viola!I specifically bought these as they look they heavy duty (to not break) and I didn't want the cloth or tie solution. Also they look great on my luggage - so hurray!

Received 3 in the package. Two of the 3 opened easily using a screwdriver for leverage and they installed nicely. The third one broke immediately when I was trying to open it to install. Contacted the seller who pointed me to Amazon. So I removed the 2 I had installed and returned all for a refund. I'm really sad that one broke because these worked well for a suitcase zipper that had an opening too large for many other zipper pulls. I cannot tell you how well these would have survived airline travel since I had to return all 3 for a refund.

These things work great but After a while they will come unclipped and fall off but I found put a couple wraps of electrical tape around them gives you a little better grip on them and they never fall off

These were easy to use, but after a few days of use they unlocked and came off the zippers. I put them back on, closed them tightly to lock, the same result. They just didn't work.

Bought to replace broken ones on luggage. These are great. Heavy duty and sturdy to grab.
