A small sturdy bait box that does not look out of place in a small garden. Took a while to unlock box, and to lock it again. Could not see why it would not lock. I am using bait not trap.

I love everything about these bait boxes - the robustness - the ease of use - the.ability for rodents to travel in and out both ends easily while stopping for a snack on route -The ability to give them a good clean (the boxes, NOT the rats ) the clever interior design - (Its like a Tiny House)But there is ONE thing I DON'T like - the KEYS. They are very clumsy & awakward. I have used a TIE WRAP instead of the keys. The TIE Wraps are nice & secure so I'm a Happy Chappy -Alena

Not very impressed with this baiter as it is not "large", but more medium sized, where larger rodents will have trouble entering into the chamber and get access to the blocks.The lock does not close and hold shut very well as a few attempts have to be made before the lid locks down fullyThe mounting rods for the bait blocks are too short as the recommended blocks length don't fit into the receptacles, so I had to drop them into the pots without the rods.(wish I had researched this better but you go by the advertisers statements), but as these are not expensive it's not that big a deal, as long as it is effective as we back onto a farm, and we and other neighbours have noticed an increase of the pests since the weather worsened recently.An update will be given if the baiter works and the bait blocks are taken(eaten)

I foolishly ignored the bad reviews of this product, thinking that it was the buyers who were wrong - well it was ME! In over 20 years buying on Amazon, this is THE worst item I have purchased. The plastic key is on the underside of the box and is just pulled out but in the absence of any instructions whatsoever, I have attempted many ways to open the cover, without any success. Also, I should have measured the dimensions given because it is minute compared to the misleading photograph in the description.UPDATE - Two weeks later, the lid does not stay closed so I have to place a brick on top! What a waste of money this was!

Just a nicely designed bait box that gave me confidence the poison was safely contained. easy to use and a well designed wire to hole the bait.The box didn't put the rat off and he visited the box after three days and then Ive not seen him again.My only concern was the wire that you thread the bait on had been bent by the rat in an attempt to take the bait away. Im not 100% sure that the rat couldn't have carried the bait out of the box given more time, but he did not get the time.There is also a place if you want to use the traditional trap that fits well.

Delivered quickly and was very easy to use. Had a good key lock system to stop our dog getting into it. Has a handy clear section on the top to see if the poison has been eaten. No more signs of rats after using this
