These were absolutely the neatest sponges. I got this little tiny box and thought how are 12 sponges in there but they were all vacuum packed. You just add some water and they all go to normal sponge size. They are good sponges that will work well for cleaning and as good as any other ones on the market, if not better. They come in a variety of colors and there are 16 in a package. The package looks about the size of a bar of soap, which means you can pack these away if you go on trips or other places and not worry about them taking up room. These were a great buy compared to your average discount food store. I have zero issues with them. They work great. I would highly recommend them and I would buy them again.

We ordered these before to use in our summer children’s art program. They were so great the first time that we ordered them again. I mean, they’re just simple sponges, but met our needs. Love the compact packaging which takes up so little space. I was amazed that 16 sponges can fit into a box the size of a bar of soap—but they expand when wet to normal size. It’s amazing just to see them grow from a thin, flat thing into a regular sponge. When you just need plain sponges for lightweight uses, I don’t think you can beat the value. They also came very quickly, in perfect condition.

These sponges were quite a surprise. You get 16 sponges in a pretty small box. Like magic, you add water to the sponge and it becomes full size. I found the quality and texture of these sponges to be even better than the brand I usually buy. Plus I love that the box is small and takes no room in my under sink cabinet. They are a tad larger and thicker than my old sponges, squeeze nicely and do a great job of cleaning my dishes. I could no longer find this type of sponge in the local stores so that is why I tried them. So glad as I will continue to use these instead of the brand. Plus they come in 4 colors which makes it easy for me to distinguish between new and old sponges.

After opening the box, they are super-compressed, really wild that they get them into that small. They do puff up to regular size once adding water.

These are so cute! They are flat as can be in their package which is the size of ONE full sponge. Just add water and they expand to regular size! Love them, love the positive environmentally friendly packaging and concept!

These are great sponges, but a bit large for my hands, so cut them down a bit. Love that they are depressed for easy storage and makes it easy to trim them, too.

They work very nicely at cleaning pots and pans. We thoroughly clean them with soap and water, squeeze out all the water, and let them dry overnight. Some mornings they smell like they have an odor of spoiling food. We do not know if this is a characteristic of using cellulose rather than actual sponge, or a different issue altogether.

In the USA, it's hard to find sponges that don't have an abrasive side. That's what happens when corporations put marketing ahead of engineering. Honestly, every kitchen should have sponges like these. People think that they can use the non-abrasive side of a two-sided sponge and everything will be fine. OK, I don't care how dexterous you are, sooner or later you will end up running a corner of that abrasive side against your delicate non-stick surface and ruining it. These sponges are great for use with delicate surfaces or when you just need to gently wipe a glass. I love that they come fully dehydrated. You'll be shocked at how little cupboard space this pack consumes, but once you wet them, they're full size sponges. What you buy at the grocery store is fancy packaging that caters to people's notion of what a sponge should look like (as brilliantly lampooned by marine biologist Stephen Hillenburg and creator of SpongeBob). Get these sponges. You won't be disappointed.
