Works as they should. NOT FOR PLUMBING!
I'm a plumber by trade and wanted to make some shelves and other projects out of black pipe. The cost of buying these that are meant for plumbing is 10 times or more higher. These work great for my purpose. They seems a little lighter duty than real plumbing ones. The main reason they won't work for anything that requires pressure is that the threads ARE NOT TAPERED. I can hand tighten each nipple into the fitting until the threads bottom out. They will not hold pressure.Highly recommended for furniture and decoration projects!

Great for the price
Anyone who enjoys building furniture or shelves using plumbing pipe knows how unbelievably expensive local stores are. This pipe is half the price! Now yes, it's not as good of quality, but it's good enough to still go with it for the price. Some pieces wobble the slightest bit after being screwed together, but it's not a big deal when the wood is holding it all in place. I'll definitely purchase again!
