This fan is solid, quiet, and effective. I’m using it as a bedside fan, mounted above us and aimed at me, not my wife 😁. I didn’t want to have any of those garbage remote controls, and this pull chain is exactly what I wanted. This fan has two speeds, and I’ll admit that I’d like one even slower one, but I love the directionality of the airstream. This points well over me, without blowing much on my wife at all. The pull chain does come out the side, which is weird, but I’m certain it’s because the mounting bolts/holes are vertical and the chain switch mechanism wouldn’t fit in the spot from the bottom. I know this because I drilled a new hole and moved it to the bottom, but had to put it slightly off center. That’s fine with me and I like it with the pull chain on the bottom and slightly on my side of the bed (I also made a plastic plug for the old hole - owning a lathe is useful…). The ‘wood’ is, of course, molded plastic, but it’s sturdy, looks good, and is of great quality. It was easy to install, and I plan on wiring it in permanently. I didn’t want to mount it “upside down” so no one hits their head on it reading, but this is a really great fan.

Installed this in my bedroom next to bed. It's sturdy and attractive. Although there are only two speed settings, both settings push a good amount of air and the fan noise is not excessive (no rattling which can happen with metal fans). Saying this fan oscillates is misleading - it does not do this on its own like some fans. It just means you can position the fan to point it where you want. Suggestion: be sure at least two of the screws through the mounting bracket go into a stud since you need to use a little force to adjust the position of the fan.

This fan is used to pull out from high on the wall when needed to circulate wood stove heat in the winter since we don't have an open concept home. We have a lot of stained wood features in our house and i was afraid this fake wood grain would look cheesy next to it, but it is really tastefully done. It works and looks great after using for all of last wood stove season. It's a powerful fan for the size of it.

This was purchased for my son's room and he is super happy with it. He didn't pay for it so he really has no concept of value. He NEVER turns it off so 'fancy' features like a remote control are lost on him. One of the reasons he never turns it off may be because it has no remote but he's also not paying the electric bill so, go figure. Good points: It's a nice, basis fan. We mounted on the ceiling, in a corner and it has the flexibility to be pivoted to point at his bed. Works as intended, is quiet, was easy to install. Meh points: A little pricey ($140) for a completely manual fan. It's nothing special...plain black, kind of small. LOTS of other fans in this price range had MANY more features. LOTS of other, CHEAPER, cooler looking fans were available...with remotes. I only bought this because my son liked the looks of ONLY this fan and I was tired of shopping (summer, and his birthday, beckoned). - It does not / cannot oscillate. It can be manually pivoted but you have to get out of bed to adjust it. - It has a pull cord...ONLY. Cannot be turned on, shut off or have the fan speed adjusted except by getting out of bed and pulling the cord. It's like the manufacturers aren't aware that the technology exists to make this "OK" fan into a great fan. I'd recommend this to people who like the looks of ONLY this fan and don't care about inconvenience of a fully manual fan.

What a power house in such a small little fan. We were looking for something to help with the humidity and heat in our laundry room, look no farther! This is stylish with its white & chrome accents. Matching my washing machine and dryer perfectly was a plus. Swivels from side to side, up & down makes it nice for small room. It was easy to install and works well!

Expensive, but just what I needed for a small workout room. In the winter I aim it high to blow the heat down. In the summer it is easy to turn as I work around the room on machines. The sound is low, the force is appropriate for the size. It is great for aiming up and down as well as side to side. Had to think on it for awhile because of the expense, but with very little floor space it was ideal. Also, I do not mind spending more for a product made in USA. This is to support our country and because it will be better made.

We needed a fan for our goose neck travel trailer. Helps get air movement in sleeping area and flips to get air movement in rest of trailer. 2 speeds. Quality construction. We tried a different style from a different company. Just didn't work. Would recommend if you don't mind the price.

Great fan, but I have to replace it every year
