Amazon Essentials Men's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Puffer Vest

Well made, comfy, and warm. Not overly thick, but certainly keep you warm, even in cold temps, and strong winds. Very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend this vest.

First off, I think Amazon Essential run a size small. I ordered a couple large fleece vests in the past, and they were just a little tight. I normally wear large shirts but I ordered a x-large this time. Perfect. Wore a Flannel shirt and the vest under my rain gear fishing in Alaska. Perfect fit and just enough warmth.

I recently purchased (2) of the light blue puffer vests from Amazon in sizes Large and X-Large for an average of $16.50 each at the end of the winter season. I usually wear the traditional fit of Land's End in Large but size up to X-Large for the Amazon Essentials line of jackets (with sleeves). The XL is more comfortable and allows for layering in colder weather. However, for the (sleeveless) vests, I prefer the Large for a snug but comfortable fit. As others have noted, Amazon basics do not have adjustable drawstrings to tighten the fit. As such, the XL vest is too loose to wear as an inner layer. The vests do keep you warm and are of good quality. Lightweight synthetic fiber with a water resistant nylon shell. If you can buy the vests on sale, it is a great value.

We ordered this vest for my husband, who gets too warm wearing a coat when working outside. He loves how it is lightweight, has deep pockets both on the inside and outside, and has a longer length to keep his waist covered. We’re ordering a second one in a different color. Very happy with this vest purchase.

We bought the Earth Red, XL, fits perfect, color is great. My husband always turned his nose up at "puffer" vests and jackets. I bought him an EB one a few years ago and he liked it, now he wanted another one, but I longer work at a store where I could get one discounted. I found this one Amazon, the minute he put it on he was in love and within 5 minutes I was asked to order another in blue. Comparing this one with The EB----R brand, he thinks this one is better made, appreciates the zipper in the front pockets, comfortable and light weight. Highly recommend.

Very nice-looking coffee brown puffer vest, for a reasonable amount of money. It fits perfectly. I can't wait to wear it.

Looking at product photos from reviews they have improved this vest. They now use high quality YKK zippers now not the IDEAL from older reviews. I'm actually pretty shocked to see YKK zippers on something of this price. I'm pretty sure overall quality has been improved from older versions. Initial impressions, well made, no loose threads. I'm 6'2" . 200 lbs. and usually wear XL and XL fits me well except I would prefer a little more tapered around the waste since I'm fairly thin. I think a large will be too small in the shoulders so will stick with the XL. I'm very pleased. Will update if I have problems. Update: Went with the large and the fit is excellent. Works great as an under layer since all my jackets are XL

Never was a fan of vest till now..Stylish and comfortable for office wear. Detachable storage/wash bag. Good for layering. True to size. Super value!!!

Light, and very comfortable. I’m 5’8 170lbs and the fit is perfect. Well worth the price. I felt the warmth as soon as I put it on. I was debating on this, or a heated vest. I’m pleased with my decision.

My son loves the vest. Nice and warm and comfortable
