I only used the vent part to replace all of my original "spin only" style. The size of the base is of no concern, since I kept and reused the mountings on my ceiling. If you do this, be careful taking old ones apart. Three clips hold the old ones into the screw base, I used a butter knife to pry the two parts apart (new and old). MAKE SURE to gently open the vents of new ones, as they are tight from shipping. While opened, gently snap the vent into the base on the ceiling. Once secure with both sides snapped put your fingers in between the opened slats and slowly spin. If they don't spin-they are not snapped all the way! One of mine was always a little hard to spin due to a screw not all the way flat on the ceiling <-- I will be extra careful with that one. All in all, they fit great. Now I can close off some vents to get more a/c to the bedroom while sleeping and close off the bedroom/bathroom if I don't want it as cold.

Our 2017 Keystone Passport 2920BH came with ceiling vents that could be rotated to change the direction of the airflow, but could not be closed. Since this model is a bunkhouse floorplan, but the trailer only has one AC unit, we initially had an issue where the bunkhouse section would get uncomfortably cold when the AC was running if we set the thermostat so that the bedroom (at the other end of the trailer) was comfortable. I was able to pop out the center section of the existing vent and replace it with the center section of this JR Products ACG25DPW-A Polar White Adjustable Ceiling Vent with 0.25" Collar. That allowed us not only to continue to be able to direct the output, but also reduce, or shut off, the airflow from that vent, allowing people at both ends to have a comfortable temperature.Getting it out looked like it was going to be a challenge until I figured out where the little tabs where in the old vent that I needed to push in with a small screwdriver to allow it to be popped out with just a little effort.

37' toy hauler with only one ac, use these to block both vents in the garage and the one in the bathroom. Work pretty well, but still let some air through. Overall, worth it

We have a grand design reflection that our daughter broke one of the vents. This one is the perfect replacement. Popped off the old vent part and popped on the new. Didn’t bother swapping out the screwed down ring.

Worked perfect for our travel trailer. Did not have to remove old base plate. Snapped old vent off and new one snapped right in place. We use it to close the bathroom vent at night in order for air to better circulate throughout the camper. Works great.

Perfect fit for my 2007 Fleetwood Tioga Jamboree motorhome (28F). The screw holes even lined up with the original holes. Ordered 3 more to replace the old ones that were cracking. For some reason the original ones became VERY brittle. These photos are of the old vent that was replaced and not the new one. I had popped off the covering vent ring prior to taking the measurements. The new ones actually look nicer and seem to be made of better plastic than the the original. On the new one the louver ring twists within the base ring. On the old ones, the louver ring covered the base ring and twisted, so they look a little different. Hopefully these ones will last.

Was a perfect fit replacement. However it does not fully close. It will only slow down the air flow. We have an a/c vent in our rv bathroom, why I don’t know. Who wants to have a cold bath room when you shower. This vent still allows a lot of air flow. I was really hoping it would have closed it off closer to completely.

Looks fantastic after it was installed in my basement ceiling. Great for where you may not have a lot of clearance in your ceiling. Functions as it should allowing you to close the vent or have it open. Also allows for you to direct the air which ever way you want.

Love the directional vents, set up where we wanted the A/C and directs it perfect !

Did not clip in my 2016 Montana High Country existing mount, could not use it.
