Cool Gear DLX Cereal to Go, EZ Freeze

IMO, this is the best option available for cereal to go, but is often very hard to find. I have owned three and try to get a new one each year. The liquid container does tend to leak a little and milk usually ends up in the bottom of my bag. I wish the o-ring were a little better to prevent this, but beggars can't be choosers when the supply is often limited. Dishwasher safe.

Saves me money! Keeps me out the nasty cafeteria It does leak, however I fill it up with my choice of cereal and milk.. I place the unit in a plastic bag and then inside my lunch bag. I place my drink or can of soup next to it so it does not turn over on my way to work.This unit gets five stars because it saves me money, healthier eating and peace of mind. This unit keeps me out of the fast food lines in the mornings for breakfast etc.I do wish that it didn't leak but, for now this is the most affordable solution for me.

Bought this as I got tired of breakfast at work always being the same thing. Fruit or yogurt. This worked perfectly. Had a slight issue with the milk freezing on the way to work one day, but generally I wash the container, stick it in the refrigerator and fill it in the morning. Then by the time I get to work it's still super cold, without being frozen.Love being able to have a bowl of cereal at work and not just the same thing every day, day in day out. No leaks, no spills, the spoon under the top is super convenient as well.

I was so excited to receive this product -- cereal and milk in on convenient, compact container! The gelled walls of the milk part to freeze and keep the milk cold. What's not to love?Well, it is a flawed design. The milk section doesn't screw together tightly, so milk leaks out of it. The top milk section snaps down securely to the bottom cereal section. In fact, it snaps down so securely that there is no way to get it unsnapped without spilling milk all over from the not-screwed-down-tightly milk section.The two times I've carried this to work, I have had to enlist others to help me get the top milk section and bottom cereal section apart. Screw that -- I'm back to carrying a baggie of cereal and a jar of milk.I do not recommend anyone buying the Stay Fit DLX Cereal to Go.

I purchased this so I could start bringing cereal to work for breakfast without having to store a gallon of milk and a box of cereal at my desk. I really liked the concept of it, especially the freezable milk container because I like my milk ice cold. The concept is great, but the execution is not. Also, the cereal does not come to the very top of the bowl like the picture depicts. I would say it comes up to about 3/4 of the way since the lid has a depression to hold the milk.Pros:- Fits a good amount of cereal into the bottom bowl. Plenty for me, but my husband could probably do with a little more.- Freezable milk container keeps milk cold.- Milk container contains just enough milk for the amount of cereal the bowl holds.- Comes with its own foldable spoon which attaches to the bottom of the lid and is sturdy enough to eat with cereal even though the handle folds.Cons:- Pieces DO NOT attach together. The milk container fits into the lid bowl, but it easily comes off. There are no catches that lock the pieces together. The lid of the bowl also comes off easily. I use a large elastic band meant for holding books to keep all three pieces together.- Milk container keeps milk cold, but not ice cold, even when eaten less than an hour after packing.- The spoon is a little too deep to be useful. It's shaped more like a ladle.- The milk container is leaky. My husband screws the heck out of the lid and we use my elastic band to keep the lid closed and it still leaks. I've taken to packing it into a large Ziploc bag so it doesn't spill milk everywhere.- Difficult to get the dried milk out of the little nooks and crannies of the lid opening. It's probably a good idea to rinse it well at work before packing away again.I will continue using this only because I feel it's a waste to get rid of it after spending the money already, but I'm seriously considering just bringing in the full size milk and cereal to work so I don't have to deal with the hassle.
