Sennheiser XSW 35-A XS Wireless Vocal Set - SKM 35 Transmitter and EM 10 Receiver - "A" 548-572 MHz

This works very well. We use it at church. The sound is clear. The mute button is easy to use and has an LED to tell when it is muted. I like the volume control on the receiver box. I can make adjustments without going to the soundboard.

We bought this for our ~200 member church as a replacement for an older Shure wireless mic.The ergonomics of the mic are very nice, so we decided to give it to the pastor and pass his older Sennheiser (unsure of the model) to one of the singers. The mic is quite a bit lighter than the Shure's or Sennheiser that we've been using. The power button is very easy to use, and the mute button is ingenious. It is in the side of the mic right below the battery level/frequency display panel.After a week of use by the pastor, he asked us to swap the mics back around and give him his old Sennheiser. He wasn't entirely satisfied with the sound quality. We passed the new Sennheiser to one of our vocalists who has a fairly bright voice (mezzo saprano range). I wasn't happy with the sound that we were getting from her on the new mic - it was a bit too bright. After working with it a bit, we passed it to our lead singer who has a very full, darker sound. (Alto/Tenor range) The new mic in her hands really sounded nice - it is very clear and has a very nice presence.Pros:1. Very clear sound2. Good presence and sound quality (with the right voice)3. Extremely easy setup (synch was automatic)4. Great ergonomics with the power switch, mute button, and weight.Cons:1. A bit too bright and brittle for some voices.2. Perhaps not a good oratory mic. (Our pastor really couldn't get the mic to respond when he brought it in close like the old Sennheiser.)For the price and the overall quality of sound, I would recommend this for purchase under some circumstances. It is definitely not of the same quality as the more expensive Sennheiser that we've been using, but still a good mic.05/18/2013 UPDATE: My lead singer just came to me this week and asked to use a different mic. She stated (as did the Pastor) that she really couldn't get the mic to respond when she brought it in close.We will not be buying another one of these. We have two more older wireless mics to replace in the near future and will be looking for something else.

I wanted to love this microphone, but the handle is made out of cheap plastic that produces unacceptable levels of handling noise with every tiiiiiny movement of the hand or fingers.I really wanted to love this. I have other wired Sennheiser mics that have handles made out of harder (apparently metal) material and won't produce such handling noise. Such a shame...

The microphone is fine. I bought it to have a second one. But the power supply is missing the plug. I don't want to leave a negative review, but there is no way to contact the seller. Please contact me to rectify this.

We expected to be really impressed by this well known respected brand but found the microphone to be pretty average.

I wanted a wireless microphone for my gigs to be independent, this was a bit pricey but definitely better than buying it in store. Quality is great. The clip is included but you need to remove the inner gold lining to fit standard US mic stands.

I bought this Mic on a recommendation from my music teacher and have no complains. Except price which it's little high, the quality and everything it's superb. Just a little setback, with so much money, they should at least add xlr cable which I had to buy separately.

The microphone was just as described and is if great quality. I would recommend and order again.
