Great for strapping items together rather than using hardware. Ratchet functions well.

I own multiple versions of PowerTye tie downs and the quality is excellent. I bought some other "no hook" straps that have nicer (larger) ratchet handles but the PowerTye strap is a better quality and easier to work with. I use them around the forks to avoid compressing the forks on my race bikes. Great value.

When I received the item I was totally impressed with the quality of this item. The strap material is super thick and you know it is going to last. Ratchet works well with no issues and as it should. Worked great for my application which is primarily off road use.

They worked but definitely could have been a foot longer. Webbing is thicker. Was unsure if that would allow slippage after tightening but they held without an issue.

This is the second set I've purchased. We travel with our dog and have a collapsible kennel we strap on the top of the car. The first set was used to hold a tarp around the kennel. The second was used to strap an artificial Christmas tree box so I could use a hoist to get it up on a shelf in the garage. They work as both a closure and a lifting sling. The ratchet feature makes it quick and easy for one person to strap up a large package. I used to use rope, and I know lots of knots, but the continuous loop ratchet straps are much better!

While I have not used these for applications that approach their maximum ratings, I have used them for "lesser" loads with no sign of problems, damage, nor degradation. They appear to be of good quality material and design, and they functioned well in my uses. The only problem that I experienced was that one of the straps arrived with some abrasions/stretching at the tail end of its strap. Not sure if it was an oversight of quality control or what, but the location of the defect at the extreme end of the strap made it essentially a non-problem.

These are perfect for tying our skis and snowboards down to to our car mount. Perfect size and very easy to use.
