Best Chromebook to date period
The Google Pixelbook is the first Chromebook worthy of consideration alongside the most high-end Windows and Mac devices. From its stunning design to its stupendous software enhancements, this is the best Chromebook to date, bar none. FOR : 1. Sublime design 2. Full Android app support 3. Awesome keyboard 4. Excellent stylus support AGAINST : 1. Pen sold separately 2. Poor audio performance 3. No biometric login

Epitome of the chromebook vision 2019
Everything is perfect for a chromebook expect the price. It should only be $50-100 more than the ASUS c434. The better battery life is probably due to the smaller screen (13.3 vs 14 on the ASUS)

Surprising performance in a great looking, high quality minimalist design
I love this Just Black i5 8gb 128gb Pixelbook Go. It reminds me of 2006 Black Macbook I really enjoyed for many years. It has a clean simple appearance and is very comfortable to hold and carry. Itโs a minimalist design with everything I need and nothing I donโt. All its components are of good to excellent quality and well matched. Its performance is very good for the vast majority of my needs, and when I push it to the edge it starts to slow down, but still does the job with a decent user experience โ just enough with nothing wasted. I like that, and it gets me a lot. - The lightest and most compact 13" notebook I've ever owned. - Terrific all day battery life and silent cool operation. - A nice bright color accurate touch screen with good resolution. - Great video conferencing / web meeting capability - Great speakers and sound - A terrific easy to read, backlit keyboard thatโs quiet and a pleasure to type on - A very good precision glass trackpad with excellent feel and predictable soft clicks - Two full function (power, video, data) USB-C ports (one on each side) - Enough CPU, memory, and storage for a great user experience for almost everything I use it for - Excellent materials, fit, finish, and design with well-integrated hardware and software - A price I can live with There is no leading edge technology, it doesn't have the highest performance or capacity or the most features, and it's not the cheapest. One or more of these things may rule it out as a good option for you. As a tech junkie I'm surprised it didn't for me. But it has no problem handling a dozen or more Chrome tabs/windows, a few Android apps and a couple Linux apps. Connecting it to a USB-C dock driving two additional FHD displays, Gigabit Ethernet, Webcam, Mic, Headset, Speakers, Keyboard, Mouse, and more starts to tax the CPU. But the only time I notice it slow down is during high speed and volume data or video transmissions โ then network file copies will slow down and moving windows around additional screens becomes less smooth, but it's still a decent user experience. And I don't end up pushing it that far very often. For me, the performance and features it does have, combined with a minimalist flavor, and great design and integration, makes it worth the premium price. *UPDATE* - Google by default had hyper threading disabled which only ran a single thread on each of the two cores. By enabling hyper threading via flags, it used 2 threads per core for a total of 4 threads, and the few performance issues I had when I pushed it disappeared.

The best Chromebook. Lightweight, excellent keyboard, excellent speakers and overall design.
The first thing I noticed about the Go was just how light it was, I had read some reviews and watched some videos but until I un-boxed it I didn't realize how light it actually was. Even though it's light it still feels solid in the hand and in no way feels cheap. I really like the design and feel that Google did a great job on this device. The keyboard feels great and it is very quiet when typing on it, I can barely hear it while I am typing this review. The key travel feels good and it's a great size. The speakers get very loud and I am impressed at how good the sound is. Impressive for a device this small and light. The track pad is one of the better ones I have used, it just feels good and is easy to use and provides a nice click. The screen while not the best, does it's job. It gets plenty bright and is very usable in all conditions. We all wish for a better screen but it works well in this package. I opted for the i5/128 version as I plan on using this for a few years and wanted to ensure I had the better processor and more storage. So far it has performed without issue and the battery life is amazing. I really like that you can charge it via USB-C. All of my devices use USB-C and it's nice to carry one cable and one battery pack on trips.

Solid Chrome Device
We purchased this Chromebook for our daughter who is off to college this fall. Since most of their homework is completed and stored online, it seemed like the obvious solution. She was also concerned about weight since she'll be carrying around a rather large campus. We purchased it a couple months early so she could get acclimated after she spent a little time sampling a Google Pixelbook. We expected the Pixelbook Go to be at least moderately less responsive than the Pixelbook, but we were wrong. This Pixelbook Go performs at par with the Pixelbook. Videos streamed over home wi-fi are stutter free and screen resolution is superb. Internet access to Google mail and drive are quick and responsive. Physically the Pixelbook Go seems built sturdy enough. She has been using it daily for two months and it has not appeared to have loosed up and doesn't show any outward signs of wear and tear. She has been at school for about a week and has mentioned that it is working well on campus. Long-term we hope it can stand up to the daily abuse that college handling will inflict on it, but by all appearances, it looks up to the task. One last note, the battery life in our particular unit is exactly as advertised, easily hitting the 10+ hour mark while intermittently streaming and surfing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a sturdy, speedy, long battery life Chrome device.
