Honest Amish Original Beard and Body Soap

This Beard Soap is amazing! My husband has been trying to train his beard and found that washing his face with regular soap was causing him to develop beard dandruff. Who knew?! So, I bought him this soap for Christmas. First, the scent is wonderful! You may get a little licorice at first, but that fades very quickly. It's a manly scent and very pleasant. We also love that it's made with natural oils, so it's great for overall skin health! You only need to use a little piece of it though, as it will melt away quickly on a shower shelf! Break off just a bit and keep the rest put away. I actually tried it out on my neck to see what it was like, and I have to say that I'd love to use this as a body soap for myself!!! His beard dandruff has disappeared, so I'd say this was well worth the investment! He gives it a thumbs up and says to keep buying it, so he's definitely a satisfied customer! :)

I just started using this to clean my beard. I don't use it as a body soap, just for my beard. When I received it , it had a heavy black licorice smell to it. I got a little worried! To my surprise it toned down after use and cleans my beard really well. Does not dry it out and does not leave a heavy smell. Heck I don't think it leaves a smell in my beard period. Really like how well it lathers up, washes clean and my beard feels great. Glad I gave this a try. Its really helped my beard look healthier in appearance and feel. I haven't needed to use an oil or balm in my beard since using this. My beard is soft after use, so no need to use other products at this time. This is my new go to beard wash. I'm definitely a happy customer.

Excellent product and it works! My only complaints are that the soap breaks down a little sooner than most soaps and while the smell is refreshing it is not my favorite. It smells like the spirited beard butter with juniper from maestros classics.

This is without a doubt the best soap I've ever used. I was never taught the virtues of a good quality soap, so when I bought this looking for something for my beard, I soon after tossed all the generic soap I had since I was never going to use it. The price might seem too high, if generic soap is all you're used to, but trust me that it's worth it. The scent is at a perfect level, where it isn't overpowering but is still noticeable. Leaves a good clean feeling after use too, and doesn't leave that horrible dry feeling after. It does require a bit more care though, if you keep it in the shower like I do you need to make sure it's kept out of running water.

I have tried many different beard products. My beard is not super long, maybe about and inch and a half, and it is neatly groomed. My skin tends to be dry, so I am always looking for good hydrating products. There are several great reviews of Honest Amish, so I thought I would try it out. Its a little on the pricey side, but still affordable. The beard wash works great. Nice lather and cleans my beard really well. Best of all, no dry skin. The bar itself is a little awkward, so I cut it into 4 squares. It does not take much to get a really good lather. The only downside, and its a big one for me, is the smell. It smells just like black licorice. That is not a smell I enjoy. It does seem to fade as the day goes, but it is super strong at first. Thats too bad because this stuff works great. I will not be buying it again.

I discovered Honest Amish not long ago. I first got their beard balm, and then the heavy duty beard balm, and then the wax. All of their products are top notch and this is no exception. Nice scent, not too powerful ( I've seen complaints of a strong scent on this product and others of theirs, but I don't think they're that strong), works into a nice lather. Leaves my beard and skin feeling hydrated and smooth. Y'all keep up the great work.

I bought this because the smell of the beard balm is so good I was excited to see soap with the same smell. The soap lathers nice and has a pleasant texture. Another reviewer mentioned cutting it into quarters and I did the same. This made the bar easier to handle and it keeps it from getting saturated. No weird residue, dryness, or irritation. It also cleans my oily face extremely well. I will order again.

Honest Amish has great beard products, this however not so much. I found that it dried my skin and left me itchy. as for melting too fast I simply cut off small pieces. Its soap like my grandmother made. I'll not buy a second bar. But the beard stuff is great.

Non ho resistito ed ho utilizzato il prodotto appena arrivato . Sorprende subito la fragranza che emana e beh, dopo l'utilizzo avevo la barba detersa in modo delicato , non secca e morbida come mai prima d'ora. Ho utilizzato altri prodotti anche più costosi , nessuno mi ha soddisfatto come questo . Consiglio assolutamente.

Soap has a strong scent but it does not linger once you rinse it off your beard. Bear smells fresh and manly, also I find it to be soft after a nice wash. Awesome product, I would recommend this to any man who wants to maintain a clean and healthy beard.

I typically pay ten to fourteen quid for this bar of soap, but you also have to remember how HUGE these are and how long they last. And their unsurpassed quality for your beard and face (I even occasionally wash my hair with it, albeit that is probably still better with shampoo). And the quality and the nice scent! If you are growing your beard long, you will need some beard products. As so many proud owners of a beard, you will try all sorts of product, soap and balm or beard oils. First you will try to order cheaper ones. But after a while, you will try Honest Amish. Once you've tried Honest Amish just once, you will never order anything else. Best for my beard, best for your beard. Yes they have a bit of a price premium, but their quality is unmatched. Your beard is stuck right in your face, so in my opinion, they are worth the premium. Strong recommendation!
