Krusteaz Double Chocolate Muffin Mix, 20-Ounces

Love the product, it has good body, not just air. Total yum factor. BUT, the shipping on it is AWFUL. Reordered four boxes (three to give as gifts) and they arrived today packed loosely in an Amazon plastic shipping bag that allowed the boxes to get banged up and resulted in all the boxes having corners smashed and one box had the top torn opened because of the sloppy packaging. Theses should have been sent in a cardboard box with filler to prevent damage.

I was surprised by the rich, substantial chocolate flavor produced by this mix. I bought a Texas sized muffin pan and was able to bake up 6 large chocolate muffins. No icing needed! These really satisfied my chocolate muffin cravings. I recently bought one of the least expensive very common name brand chocolate cake mixes at my local grocery and was very disappointed by the insubstantial crumb and artificial chocolate flavor of the muffins it produced. The Krusteaz's mix produced a muffin with deep chocolate flavor, a dense muffin crumb, and chocolate chunks. They baked up well into six relatively big muffins. I'll buy this mix again.

I am age 78 and live alone. This is the best chocolate cake mix I have ever had. I divided it in half added walnuts and baked it in a loaf pan. It was so light and delicious. This mix would work fine for a roll cake baked in a tray pan for a Christmas log cake.

The chocolate muffin mix was easy to bake up tasted delicious. I added some toasted pecan pieces to my muffins.good price for 2 boxes of mix. Will buy again.

The muffin mix works up well and the muffins are very tasty. HOWEVER, the box arrive CRUSHED, but forttunately the contents weren't affected.

I love that Krusteaz has so many muffin flavors as this brand consistently produces muffins and cakes with higher qualify texture and taste than other brands. The double chocolate muffins did not disappoint! They were delicious and I can't wait to buy this again!

My kids love these so much they asked for them for breakfast 3 days in a row. They were moist, flavorful and easy to make!

This brand has several good mixes. We love the Almond Poppy Seed, Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake, and this Double Chocolate muffin is my son's absolute favorite~
