Thinvik [2 Piece Plastic Mallet Dip Finger Support Brace Splint Joint Protection Injury

Simple effective device to keep the top finger joint straight to heal mallet finger. The Velcro straps were affixed a little crooked but doesn't impact useability. Would note that size 4 was a snug fit on a male middle finger and 2 was snug on pinky finger. Some may need to size up if fingers are wider. Would note this keeps the finger straighter and safer than the "Oval 8" plastic devices. I have been using those when out and about and these when home or working.

Easily placed, good support, especially when doing more physical activities to protect your finger.

These splints are great! I got a set with graduated sizes, so it was no problem getting the right fit. These were such a relief after several days with a big, bulky splint from the drugstore. My only complaint is that the splints are kinda long — they reach partway down the second knuckle on my ring finger, and the too-long part tends to stick out and snag when my finger is bent. (I generally wear a men’s medium or large glove, since women’s gloves don’t fit me well, so my hands aren’t exactly tiny.) After accidentally ripping off splints when they snagged on clothing, I ended up trimming the ends about a third of an inch and sanding the edges smooth, and now they’re great — if I’m not paying attention, I even occasionally use the splinted finger to type.

Using this for mallet finger. Works to keep finger straight, but plastic digs into to top of finger because of angle finger needs to be in to heal. My husband had to put bandaid on first to shield skin from edge of plastic. Hope this helps. We will see if it works to correct mallet finger.

Perfect for my Mallet finger. Been two weeks and they still work fine and are comfortable and easy to wear. I switch them out when the velcro strap gets wet because it feels weird. NOTE: I ordered medium which would have worked fine on smaller fingers, but I need a large. I dipped it in boiling water for a sec and gave it a little stretch. Fits great

I had a typical, uncomplicated mallet finger injury for which this splint was supposedly designed. However, the splint did not fit properly and was uncomfortable to wear. Also, it would not stay on. I was not able to utilize this splint at all and it provided no therapeutic benefit.

I received the M assortment pack of this splint. The size 2 was okay, but a bit small for my finger, so I moved up to size 3. Size 3 was smaller than size 2 and I was unable to even get my finger in the cup of the splint. Size 4 was double the size of the larger one and was unwearable. it was enormous. It didn't even fit my thumb. I had high hopes for these, but I'm not sure that I can wear any of them. Maybe the 2, it worked the best. but how can there be such a discrepancy in sizes?
