Perfect practice balls
These balls are awesome for the Jugs Lite pitching machine. Even when pitching at the highest speed the balls deliver almost no real pain when hit, feels like a moderate slap on the arm with a small bare hand. It’s helped our team with confidence when facing harder throwing pitchers. We also like how you can use them in the cold and hitting them doesn’t send pain pings through the bat into your hands at all, the balls also won’t damage property.

Great training balls!
I've only been using these for about a week to hit around my 1 acre yard, but so far I love them! It's fun going out and setting these up on my Sklz travel tee and hitting them as far as I can, and letting my dog retrieve them for me. They are made of a pretty durable foam that seems to withstand the bat very well. They don't travel as far as a real softball, but they definitely fly better than wiffles. For the price of twelve they are definitely worth it to train in a smaller yard where you don't want to take a chance on breaking anything. Just know that they still can easily be knocked over 200 feet off of a tee. As a previous reviewer commented, dogs definitely love them, so if you have a large one, I wouldn't suggest letting them get a hold of them unless they are very well trained.

better than wiffle balls
I coach 13-16 year old girls. Wiffle balls are great but the problem is the kids hit them so hard, after 2 or 3 batting practices, they crack on me. These balls work about the same, heavier, little farther when hit but stand up good for what we call Rapid Fire batting practice and soft toss. Kids can line up in the infield. Even better for hitting high fly balls and avoiding broken noses which I have already had happen to one of my girls.

Great for batting practice, but hard to catch in a glove
I purchased these lite softballs to help my daughter with catching pop ups and batting. They have held up very well and do not show signs of wear yet, even though our dog retrieves them when they are dropped or hit. I'm not sure what material they are made of, but they are light while still being sturdy. My only complaint is that they pop out of the glove frequently because they are so light, and they are larger than the regular softballs that we use, which also causes them to bounce out of the glove. Luckily after practicing for a couple of weeks with these my daughter has mastered pop ups, so we have moved on to a regular softball for catching. These will still be used for batting practice.

Very nice balls for back yard hitting
Very nice balls for back yard hitting. Will fly a little farther than expected, but gives really good hitting feed back for solid contact. We use them exclusively in the pitching machine and they hold up well. Only one has a tear in the outside cover and even then it is still able to be used. Also very consistent coming out of the machine

Great training aide for older softball players!
Product is as described. Works as expected with the Jugs Lite-Flite machines. This is a great training aid for older ball players because the balls have quite a bit of movement when fired thru the Jugs-Lite pitching machine. This aids HS ball players with handling curve balls, screwballs, and drop balls. Don't get me wrong... it is also great for younger players who are afraid of getting hit with the ball. These foam balls won't hurt anyone. Most other pitching machines use dimple balls which basically throw fast balls.

Good practice balls
They work good for a foam ball. Not perfectly consistent out of the pitching machine but they don't hurt. Good for kids that are afraid of the ball.

Balls are two pieces joined in the middle and it looks like they may not last more than a season but ...
A little over priced for what they are. Using for indoor practice with a pitching machine and 13 year old girls. Balls are two pieces joined in the middle and it looks like they may not last more than a season but we'll have to reserve judgment on that until we see their condition at the end of the year. Very light and true flight from the machine to the batter making it an excellent tool to use and perfect for indoors.
