This thing popped and smelled, I switched to another one of the bulb. on a new vented fixture. It melted my fixture in 15 minutes. this was the temp of the first bulb. no way to reach customer service. avoid like the plague.

Awesome product, especially for shy reptiles that prefer to bask without a light. My snakes are quite thrilled with these. I bought the three pack and one was broken upon arrival, but as soon as I reached out, they sent me a replacement. No issues at all. Great customer service. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future for other tanks. We will also try some when we hatch chicks and ducklings this spring. It will be a nice heat source for night.One thing to be careful of...make sure to monitor these when you first start using them. You need to adjust the heat setting until you find what is right for your animal or plant, and especially for how far the bulb is from them. We played with it for a few hours and realized we only needed them at a third of the power, which we did not expect. You just don’t want to burn anyone by having it too hot and too close.

I purchased a three-pack of 150W heat lamps. The first stopped working after about a month. The second stopped working after another month. I'm on the third bulb now but I don't expect it to last long. I don't know how to get my money back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS POOR QUALITY JUNK!

The bulbs become so hot that the ceramic bulb becomes unglued from the metal base. There is no indication why the bulb isn't working until you go to unscrew the bulb and hear the wires snapping inside the metallic base. Removing the metal base from the lamp is not an easy task.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Good heat output and look to be well constructed. They are a good fit for a standard fixture with a relative size of a PAR 30 lamp. Have been using two of them in a chicken coup for about two months and they are working great.

The packaging was done right, plenty of bubble wrap and the 3 emitters were securely held by the cardboard support. Quality looks great, I'll follow up after using them for a few days.

I purchased two sets of the 100 watt heat emitters and am thus far very satisfied. I’ve had them for several weeks now and all those in use work beautifully. They do get hotter than standard heat bulbs, and when first used they do tend to tick as they heat up, which is completely normal. Overall I find them preferable to other heat sources and will definitely be buying these again.

The heater was not a huge red shining bulb. It was not over powering but our chameleon went right near it immediately and fell asleep. We will absolutely buy more in the future. This seller sent it out quickly and our son's new Chameleon was warm and cozy for the recent 31 degree weather.
