There are differences between using AAA and 18650
Very nice and bright zoomable flashlights. I used the AAA battery adapter in one and a 18650 Battey in the other. Left them on for 40mins. They are a simple click on and click off. Results that are very noticeable immediately is that the 18650 Battery is slightly brighter, 3200mAH, and heated up more so after the 40 mins then the one with the AAA adapter.Great set of flashlights to have. At the end the lights were still as bright as when started and both flashlights were warm to touch, the 18650 a bit more so then the one with the AAA. However, was still a bit brighter.Very well made and comes with 2 Flashlights, 2 AAA battery adapters, and Sleeves for use with 18650 Lithium batteries. If using the 18650 batteries you will need to purchase a charger as these do not have a USB C charging port. They come with clips and short lanyards. Fit well in purse or pocket. Worth the money.

SUPER bright; use as spotlight or beam
These GearLight Tac LED lights are more than twice as bright as our older led lights that we've had for several years. Our old ones were great and have worked flawlessly, and of course the tech is better now, but these GearLight Tac lights are incredibly bright. You can change the focus from spot light to a more narrow beam by pulling the front part of the light out or in (actually had to read the directions to figure that one out). I've only had them a short while, so I can't say about how they will hold up, but they are super bright and well worth the money. I like the desert tan look and the clip that can attach to a backpack or whatever. They feel sturdy as well.

Great little flashlights!
I discovered these Gearlight flashlights about two years ago and keep adding more to my collection. At 5-6 inches long, they fit into lots of places and spaces, and have a very strong, broad beam, adjustable down to just a spotlight. They have a very solid feel which can make them a little heavy to carry around in a woman's purse, but I have them all over my house, glove compartment, etc. I have bought at least 15 (2-packs) of them, for both my parents' home and my own, and I have given them as small gifts to friends, who love them as well. Most of mine are black, but I have been buying the new khaki color recently. You will need three AAA batteries for each flashlight. They come with an attached (but removable) cord, which makes it easy to hang them on hooks around the house. I labeled many of mine so that I can keep track of where they belong! I highly recommend them.

Affordable and also fit 21700. Solid construction.
Cheap. Functional. We'll see if they're robust.I do a lot of elevated work inside massive machines. I'm forever dropping flashlights or they walk off somewhere. I bought these because they were affordable. We'll see how well they hold up to being dropped.Bonus: Most devices that have an 18650 "tube" will also take 21700 so this does not disappoint. I harvest good cells out of "dead" tool batteries so I essentially have limitless batteries. 21700 last so much longer. These things are decently bright. Bright enough for my workI don't know how the head comes off so I can't tell you how secure the led cob is. Seems to be relatively waterproof. Body body is considerably thicker than I expected especially the endcap. Problem I have with the Milwaukee flashlights is they're too thin and one drop makes them go out of round then you can't get the battery cap off. This endcap is THICK, almost 3mm where the threads are and then it only gets thicker.Honestly for the price, you could buy them almost as disposables (decent molicel 18650 or 21700 are cheap as can be from the right places). My one complaint would be no low power setting. Sometimes it's nice to not have to pop in a new battery every 30-40 minutes (I have not tested run time on a decent 21700)Size is good. Good hand fit. Not too difficult to hold in your mouth for those upside down, three handed jobs in the dark. Might want to get a silicone ring though.Only other serious issue would be the clip. The ring on most pocket clips is usually 3/4 of a circle. This is barely half. The clip itself is super stiff so trying to clip to anything thicker than a shirt pocket ends up popping the whole clip off. BUT! Comes with a lanyard fitting AND a lanyard so you can always D-ring clip it instead.

Great lights
Great, reasonably priced lights. They're not expensive, generate enough lumen for most needs and don't heat up with extended use. The casing is sturdy and battery life is better than expected. I have 4 of these spread around the house. They are good for EDC without breaking the bank.

Great little lights
These are great little flashlights. I like the fact that they're single functions, so you don't have to worry about additional issues with them. They come equipped with a holder for 3 AAA batteries but they will also take the 18650 batteries. This is what I like to use in them because of extra brightness. They even came with sleeves to account for the difference in size between the 18650's and the AAA holder. I didn't even know they made sleeves for that. I keep one in each of the pickup doors so that we have them readily available if we need them. Another thing is that they're very bright and you can focus the beam to either a floodlight or to a spotlight. Like most of these flashlights, the spotlight forms into a square once you get down to the smallest coverage. So far I can highly recommend these flashlights.
