This really shouldn't be sellable to the UK. Fairly large fire hazard. Avoid sending back immediately.

Do not purchase if outside of USA
Not sure why you are able to buy this product outside of USA. It will immediately burnout on 230v. Very disappointing.

WARNING: Don't order this if you're not in the US!
The seller happily sends this item to any country, but the problem is that this sharpener only works with 120V voltage, and in the most countries in the world it's 230V. Sending it back is quite expensive, so don't make the same mistake as me.

Simple and works
I decided to try this item out as it got good reviews on the internet. I am not trying to sharpen my cutlery by learning angles, honing stones, and the rest of that nonsense. I will leave that to the professional cooks. I ran my steak knives and cutting knives through the Chef's Choice, and it gave back a sharpness and life to those dull utensils. I am pretty impressed. There was a feel you get when you are in the grove and the device is doing exactly what it is supposed to be doing.

Unbrauchbar in Deutschland
Konnte das Produkt nicht einmal Teste. Amerikanischer Stecker und 110 Volt. In Deutschland unbrauchbar. Wäre das in der Beschreibung angegeben, könnte man jede Menge Kosten und CO2 ersparen. Ein Stern nur, weil es nicht 0 Sterne gibt.

Great purchase
Very good product! My knifes are extremely sharp now!Sometimes, the positioning of the blade on the stone is not always clear but once you get used to the sharpening motion, it is very smooth!

Knives sharp
It sharpens those knives right up. And has both western and Japanese angles. Easy to use. Highly recommend this model. I had a different model and it was terrible. This has diamond abrasives while my other one was ceramic. Get Diamond! Worth extra money, knives are expensive.
