I love this ! It's my 3rd heat gun . I work with Resin so they get used. Works well with resin, nice airflow and the temperature works well for me. Only one power level but that's all I need. Very comfortable to hold and reach the switch. Thanks !

I wasn't sure about how useful this mini heat gun would be, but I've ended up using it non-stop for the last month while doing a lot of wiring, including a complete wiring harness. I use a lot of shrink tubing, mostly the double-wall and adhesive lined stuff, so it's really important to get it hot enough without scorching anything. Unlike my larger, fancier guns there's really knobs or buttons to mess with, so I'm glad the standard setting works so well. I've come to really like the size and shape of it, particularly the heat shield around the nozzle that makes it relatively safe to set down.If you're still playing with matches or a mini-torch, find some other use for those.

Everything is real nice on this little heater. Works like a champ. Only thing to note is on the first few uses you will get a burnt smell as it is burning some sort of coating on the nozzle. No biggie, it will go away after a few uses.

So far so good.I use it mainly to heat electrical shrink tubing. There will be other projects to use this for, I'm sure of it. The heat is more direct than the hair blow dryer that I use and you just need to move it back and forth for more coverage. The metal attachment that came with it directs the heat even more for a faster process.Feels solid and sturdy on the hand, light and nimble at the same time. More watts than the common generic brand that I see on Amazon for sale.I like everything about it except perhaps the plastic stand (that you can flip close) near the heating element that appears flimsy but so far holding its own. Maybe a metal design on the stand would be better? But strike that, a metal stand will conduct heat since it is closer to the heating hole....and an ouchy can be the result of it.In short, 5 stars for perfection.

Why I wanted so long to purchase a heat gun is beyond me. So far, this has been working great. I mostly use it for heating shrink wrap and it excels at the task. Heats up fast, and gets the job done. I do wish it had t power settings, but that hasn't really been an issue so far.

Using it to flow paint and it is powerful enough without being too much. Just what I needed. Great price point

I love this little heat gun (use it mainly for gunsmithing)! I used it to loosen the factory thread locker they use on dovetail sights.. works like a charm! easy to direct the heat exactly where you want it... recommended!

The heat gun works very well. The built-in support is nice and folds away when storing the heat gun. The gun warms up quickly and isn't very loud. There are no fan or speed settings like low medium or high, it's either on or off. Do keep your hands on the black rubbery grips towards the middle front of the gun so as not to block the air vents in the back of the gun. The first time I turned the gun on it did smoke a little but I'm not surprised it was most likely burning off any oils and other stuff on the heating element acquired during manufacturing of the gun. The power cord is 6 ft 3 inches long. The gun itself is just under 9 inches long.
