Nice Dutch Oven
This is a very nice dutch oven. Be warned it is HEAVY. I have had great success cooking with it and largely the clean up has been better than anticipated (I expected it to be really terrible to clean.) I really like the color. The heat distribution is excellent. I have had to reduce my bread baking time a bit because it is so efficient.

A kitchen must have
I couldn’t be happier with this Dutch oven from Lodge. The quality is outstanding — it feels solid and durable, and you can tell it’s built to last. The Sandalwood color is beautiful and looks great both on the stove and on the table. It heats evenly and retains heat incredibly well, which makes it perfect for bread baking, soups, stews, braising, and slow cooking. I’ve made homemade sourdough in it and the crust came out amazing thanks to the moisture-sealing lid. Everything cooks consistently without hot spots. The enamel interior is easy to clean and doesn’t require seasoning like traditional cast iron, which is a big plus. The dual handles make it easy to move (with oven mitts, of course), and the lid fits snugly to lock in flavor and moisture. For the price, this Dutch oven delivers exceptional performance and versatility. Highly recommend for anyone who loves cooking or wants to upgrade their kitchen essentials!

Great buy!
Impressed by the finish and its good quality. Price quality relation compared to priciest one on the market, great option.

You need this!
Hands down, Lodge is the finest in Dutch Oven cookware. I made Cheeseburger Soup in one pot! Start to finish. It cooked evenly, completely, and looked so nice on my stovetop. I purchased it in STORM BLUE for contrast to my very white kitchen. But really, you can’t go wrong with Lodge. Cleanup was a breeze because nothing burned or got stuck to the bottom. I did a little babysitting the stove, but this was my maiden, breaking it in adventure! Oh there was some ground beef residue on the bottom while browning it, but with hot soapy water and a soft scrubby, it melted away with no soaking, hard scrubbing, or cursing. Be prepared though as the cookware is quite heavy. But that’s the Lodge quality shining through. The inside bottom is slightly curved which helps with cooking a variety of dishes like my soup. I’m thrilled with my first Dutch Oven purchase. If you enjoy cooking and desire stovetop or oven cooking options from a single pot, get a Dutch Oven!

Lodge makes a good cast iron dutch oven
Honestly, I'm leaving this review for the joke. I managed to ruin my last Dutch oven. Now that I know better, this one sits on my stove as a nice decoration and I even use it sometimes. I just love the dark green color. I'd probably use it more if it wasn't so heavy. It just makes cleaning it more of a chore. It's a beast and will be in my kitchen forever. I've made soups and sauces and even burned a few vegetables in it. It's more durable than my last one, no problems with chipping or rust as long as I dry it and use the rubber clips when it's not in use. It's a good value for the price IMO.

Love it
I just bought this a few weeks ago and I've used it about ten times already. Its perfect for soups, beefaroni, chili, and one pot meals. So far, I've only used it on the stovetop but it's been a great addition to my kitchen and cleans up easily. It's so pretty and heavy I just let it sit on the stove. You won't regret buying this dutch oven.

Large very heavy enamel cast iron pot
Great Christmas gift. My wife loved it. She has used it a bunch of times already. It’s very heavy to move around and she wants to leave it out on the counter. - too heavy to put away not ease of use - Very sturdy - good size

Excellent quality for a fraction of the cost of other brands.
This is my favorite cooking pot. I make pot roast with vegetables, soups, and chicken in it. It cleans up so easily with a soak and some baking soda. I have the Lodge brazier too, and I love it, but this big pot is my favorite. It's just as fine quality as the more expensive brands. I have it in blue and it looks nice on my stovetop.

Finally decided to get a Lodge to bake my sourdough bread. It’s great but very heavy as it’s a 6qt. Love the colour. Handles are just right size.

I have a cheap stove, so it's not easily possible to stew things at lower temperature with regular pots. The heat dissipates too quickly, so it just stops simmering. Not with this pot: It has amazing heat retention, so it has become indispensable since I bought it. It is extremely heavy though, which is to be expected by such a large mass of cast iron. Maybe it can double as a makeshift bomb shelter in a pinch. I guess any dutch oven has to measure up to Le Creuset, which I don't personally have any experience with. However, I can see that the Le Creuset costs at least twice as much on Amazon. I doubt that it can be twice as good because this pot is damn near perfect. At 6 liters, it is a bit too big for two people, but that's hardly Lodge's fault. Only disadvantage to me is that the lid edges are kind of rough so they feel like unglazed terra cotta. That means that putting the lid on, taking it off, or moving it makes a scraping sound which I personally hate more than nails on a chalkboard. Fortunately, the lid is very heavy as well so it's not like you move it around too much. I'm kind of blindly rating its taste though. I have not tried eating it because I find cast iron too hard to chew, but I have to assume it's delicious.

Finally bought a big enamel dutch oven that's affordable, well made and very good looking! I put 3 whole chicken leg (about 300gm each), 4 thighs (about 600gm), 4 chicken wings (about 600gm), 2 onions, and 4 packets of brown shimeiji mushrooms into the 6-quart dutch oven and baked them in an oven. The meat turned out really well. They were soft and juicy and the whole family loved it. The next time I cook this dish, I will experiment with shorter baking time & lower temperature.
