I have read the reviews and this is what I will say. Yes, a bit cloudy when you shake it. They are all like that. Yes, not filled with as much snow as those made 40 years ago. But magical. Also it's resin and not ceramic with pros and cons. It's an absolutely beautiful snow globe for today's times! Just lovely. The music piece winds up nicely, no it isn't a full sonata, it plays as long as any I have heard or have had and the tune is absolutely charming. Love the white white color, well made, beautifully boxed, price is reasonable, gold on horses is stunning and my three granddaughters will abosolutely love staying at my home and having this beautiful music box to look at and listen to. And I will enjoy its charm when they are not here. Comepletely delighted!!!!

My 14 yr. old daughter loves her Valentine's Day gift! It is very pretty and detailed. The horse in the middle does not spin, but the little ones outside move around the globe. There is an on/off switch to add light for the color-changing feature. The only way the internal "glitter" works is when U turn it upside down to crank the music box to play. When it's turned right-side-up, the snowy crystals fall slowly. There is no swirling mechanism inside the globe to keep the glittery stuff moving. The music play about 45 seconds. Very nice... Do not crank more than 1 1/2 turns or U will most likely break the music box. I recommend this product.

It made a pleasing gift for a child's collection

I had received a wrong item first but once I let them know they were on top of correcting the mistake and I received this beautiful carousal the next day. I had ordered this for my granddaughters 1st birthday and I wanted something different and eye catching that could be put up on a shelf for her to keep for the rest of her life or to pass to her daughter. I love the satin pearl look to all the horses.I think I made a good decision instead off getting her all the toys and clothes every one else will be getting her. Things that she will outgrow.

I purchased this in pearl white and it's beautiful. The horses are very detailed, pretty colors, love the changing lights in the snow globe. Worth the price. Would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves carousel horses. The picture doesn't do it justice.

I love this music box snow globe . It was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old and she loves it as well. My only complaint is that the light quit working almost right away. That was pretty disappointing. Other than that I’d give it 5 stars.

I sing "you are my sunshine" every night to my daughter so I wanted a music box with that tune. This is absolutely beautiful and with the lights on, stunning ! I accidentally left the lights on 2 nights in a row so have to replace the battery for the lights so as of right now I can't say if that will be a hadsel or not but I would highly recommend this. I did find it a bit pricy but we love it so to us it was worth it.

Product is lovely, a bit pricey for what it is and how it's put together. The top part of the carousel isn't straight and there are deep scratches in the glass! But it's pretty and the tune is nice and isn't muffled.

I brought this 3 months ago as it was on sale after I had brought another one which worked just fine but this one does not turn nor does the music play after winding. I have just brought it out to see it before giving it as a gift to my sister in law now it looks like I can't. I am livid!!!
